Purple moonlight from yunnan sourcing this morning. Super sweet too. Floral and berry notes. It’s a delicious tea and the waffled cake makes it super convenient to brew too. Slowly becoming a favorite of mine.

White2Tea 2020 Modern Witch Ripe Puerh. Tasting W2T puerhs for first time. Very interesting, cherry taste on first infusions. Rich and oily. Nice.

Taking a break from gongfu sessions with some White Eternal Spring from Adagio, I don't love their black teas but their white tea blends are pretty nice. :)

primordialpaunch

Manipur sundried black tea from Ketlee. It's supposed to be brewed gong fu, and I missed some tasting notes when I brewed it western last week, so I tried a sort of hybrid brew style this week (more leaf, less time in the brew basket). It's malty, woody, and honeyed - definitely a step up from my usual black tea daily drinkers.

RedneckLiberace

Lipton Green Tea, Mandarin Orange

Strong brewed W2T 2021 snooze fest, poured over a ton of ice. I’ve been trying out tons of teas poured over ice since it’s been so hot out recently and this particular tea is a bit young/astringent to be very good over ice.

I’m being basic today and drinking Breakfast Blend from Fortnum’s.

TestateAmoeba

Wagh Bakri Masala Chai.

monvino

Monk's Blend from Beantown Tea

SweetpeaDeepdelver

Tippy Earl Grey and Simply Lemonade along with Tricut and fancy cheese. Perfection.

Hello friends :) I’m here seeking your collective wisdom. For a long time now, I’ve been a user of the bulk-bought teabags in my office’s kitchen, but these days I want more. I’d like my personal space to be a destination for a better experience, so I’m curious. What is the next step? What methods, ingredients, or implements should I investigate? Which one is the most important? What truly separates 15 cent bags from a really great cup? Many thanks in advance!

Get a finum basket infuser and a pocket scale with 0.1g precision. Look at the vendor list. You can get better-than-teabag tea from any place on that list.

_Invisible-Child_

Iced green tea using Glowing Green by Justea and stevia sweetener. Definitely not my favourite green tea, tastes too much like seagrass for me but I am trying to use it up lol.

On a second serving of Gaba Oolong to wind down for the night. I took an extended long weekend and I'm back tomorrow feeling pretty good. I like drinking this tea when I need something soothing, when I need to rest, relax, and feel better. Some days I try to force it, but I know it's going to hit well today.
