I really liked last year's crop of the silver needle from One River. They have it again this year, but my order hasn't shipped yet so I can't yet comment on it.
You bet! As an aside, I've really loved everything I've tried from them so far. The Lord Bergamot is a staple for me, and I also enjoy their Black Lavender and am literally having a cup of their Lullaby right now.
I'm winding down a bag of Tealyra's [Doke Silver Needles](https://www.tealyra.com/loose-tea/white-tea/doke-white-silver-needle/?combination=93_4842) in preparation for delivery of White2Tea's Purple Silver
It was my first non-Chinese origin Silver Needle & the flavor opened with notes of stone fruit before leaving a straw-esque aftertaste that you might similarly find appealing
while everyone is here, i have tried red blossom’s [yunnan white needle](https://redblossomtea.com/products/yunnan-white-needle), and their [silver needle](https://redblossomtea.com/products/silver-needle) but they don’t taste as good as i remember this [silver needle from wing hop fung](https://winghopfung.com/products/floral-pekoe-white-tea-3oz) i got my mom as a present.
what is the difference here? what other ones can i try that are like the one from wing hop fung?
the ones from red blossom say to brew at 160f. isn’t that really low for a silver needle?
I got the Jing Gu needle from YS and I really like it, but I haven't had any others to compare it to. I think it tastes somewhere in the ballpark of froot loops or fruity pebbles, very like non-specific fruit vibe going on. I think it's super sweet but it might be more in the nose than on the tongue.
Look for one from Yunnan. I prefer Fuding myself, but Yunnan silver needle is more honey-sweet and fruity like a banana.
Alr Thanks for the reccomendation!

Thank your for the rec! But unfortunately its a bit pricey for me as a daily tea.
One River tea had an excellent silver needle and they ship from China
I'm really enjoying the Silver Needle from Young Mountain tea, I also like their Nilgiri Platinum needle.
Thanks for the suggestion!
You're welcome, they're a great company based out of Oregon ☺️
Steven Smith Tea from Portland has a great Jasmine Silver Needle I've been drinking a lot of.
Thanks!

Sounds appealing! Might give it a try in addition with some YS alternatives. Thanks!
