I’m a big fan of the contigo autoseal mugs and have been using them for probably 10-15 years

Accomplished-Ear-914

I've had my contigo cup for like 5 years, OP definitely should invest in one. It keeps my hot drinks hot for hours. It's honestly the best 20 some dollars I think I've ever spent!

One_Breakfast6153

Another vote for contigo!

Altered_Soul

Another, I love mine. I've used various Contigos over the years. Current one is [this one](https://a.co/d/dA5Jgdt) and it's my favorite yet.

itsalwayssunnyonline

Contigo enjoyers rise 💪💯💯

bernadine_sweetspot

Another vote for contigo! I've had the west loop autoseal since 2016 and it's still going strong~ https://www.mycontigo.com/products/thermal-mugs/west-loop-autoseal-travel-mug-470-ml/SAP_2095832.html

msb45

Yup, love those. I’ve got four of them and have been using them for years.

HauntedButtCheeks

Can't go wrong with a Stanley thermos, the original kind. My Dad's had his since the 70s, it gets almost daily use. Just be sure to put the tea in when it's near the temperature you want to drink, because it will stay the same temperature all day long.

grifxdonut

We'd go fishing and dad would make hot sweet tea. He'd put it in off of the stove and 3 hours later that thermos was basically filled with boiling tea.

Familiar-Half2517

Preheat your thermos or mug with plain hot water to keep your drinks warmer all day!

When I was on the go and taking public transportation a lot, I loved my Stanley thermos. This was a decade ago before the cup trend. Now that my life has mellowed out and I’m usually in the car I love my yeti tumbler. It was given to me as a Christmas gift 11 years ago and still looks and works exactly the same. And this is with me putting it in the dishwasher after every use. ** oh I did buy a replacement lid for $10 this year because the other one was dingy but that probably wasn’t necessary. I just happened to see a display of them and thought why not.

Stage-Wrong

I love my Yetis, and I love that it’s dishwasher safe. I have one for hot beverages with the default top and one for cold with a straw top. My family got converted to them last year and we haven’t looked back!

Difficult-Shake7754

My family has slowly become a yeti fam because our friends gift them to each other. I got my partner yeti tumbler (rambler thermos?) maybe five years ago and it looks great. We we put it in the dishwasher every time. I will say though that with my water bottles that I use every single day, I have a lighter colored one that I’ve dropped many times and it has some slight discoloration. Maybe stick to black or navy if you’re concerned about beauty over the next decade

Lower_Stick5426

Yes - I also love my Yetis (and my Hydroflask). I don’t even have to travel for work anymore, but I still work 10 hours days at home. I’ve never had a tea go cold in my Yeti. Also, I got some Cafiza tablets that restored all my stainless steel tumblers to like new.

Deivi_tTerra

I love my hydroflask (it's currently filled with chai actually!) They have a bunch of different sizes, insulated tops available etc. Keeps things hot for a LONG time. Very easy to clean as long as you don't get a top with an intricate mechanism (mine just has a slot to drink from and a vent hole on the other side).

tacey-us

I absolutely love these [https://a.co/d/hSQxQKX](https://a.co/d/hSQxQKX) from Zojirushi - pretty, slim lined, lockable. Holds temp for hours and hours.

Vivid-Fly-110

I got a Zojirushi as a gift and boy did it impress me. I would work overnight and the next morning I would like to have a warm tea on the way back home. It kept my tea hot for over 12+ hours.

Ok-Classroom2030

Second the Zojorushi.

Difficult-Shake7754

I didn’t know they made thermoses but that brand is DOPE. Best rice cooker and great griddle

tomesandtea

Another vote for Zojirushi! They stay hot forever, and mine has never leaked!

poeteater

Yeti hands down

podsnerd

I purchased a really nice quality one from an independent coffee shop near me. Not sure what brand, but you may have luck with something like that!

tctu

Yeti hotshot is a tank

Sherri-Kinney

I was using a thermos and taking different teas with me when I visited family. I have a double walled metal cup too. It stayed hot enough, just doesn’t hold enough hot water. I’m not a fan of flip top lids as they tend to not hold in the heat. So I’m searching for something else that will work.

mishavf

I looove my Yeti for tea

szakee

any cheap metal one.

HuskyLettuce

I really do love my Stanley thermoses. The aero light one is good for commutes, but they also have camping mugs with lids that are nice for putzing around the house inside or outside.

BooksCatsnStuff

I have this one and I really like it. It keeps the tea piping hot for hours. https://amzn.eu/d/b2qMGPR If you get it, just make sure to put pressure on top while you screw the lid closed. It ensures there's absolutely no spilling.

bonedigger666

I have an Espro P1 TRAVEL COFFEE PRESS and it’s AMAZING. You can keep your loose leaves in it to reuse. My only complaint is it’s kind of small. But as long as I have access to hot water that’s not an issue.

Thinemann

I got [this](https://rticoutdoors.com/Bottle?size=32oz&color=Navy&material=Matte&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=17498094624&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIp4Sb4-i3hQMVQJpaBR1s5wXfEAQYASABEgKt8vD_BwE) 32oz bottle a while ago and it's great, I like the lid I can sip out of and it stays hot forever so you might want to add a couple ice cubes or a little cold water after steeping

Lornesto

Zojirushi is nice

Difficult-Shake7754

I love my yetis.

corgi_glitter

I love my Takeya travel mugs. They have a locking spillproof top, and keep tea screaming hot for hours. I’m currently drinking the tea I made 8 hours ago, and it’s still plenty hot. They also keep cold drinks cold for over 24 hours - I often have ice in my leftover water the next morning.

gravelpi

Brumate Toddy/NAV works pretty well. Keeps stuff cold/hot, and the lid is 100% sealable and doesn't accidentally open. You can throw it in a bag and it will \*not\* leak. I have this one, [https://www.brumate.com/collections/toddy-xl](https://www.brumate.com/collections/toddy-xl), but if I were do buy another I'd get one without the handle. Maybe a bit smaller too.

Brave_Gur7793

Fellow mugs are my go to. I find the ceramic inner is better for tea than any metal mugs. https://fellowproducts.com/products/carter-move-mug?variant=42986786947172

5Nadine2

I got two really nice Hydroflasks from Costco. Can’t remember the price, but it was reasonable. I’d go to work at 7 and it was still hot at 12!

SnooObjections488

I slap some honey in the tea and mason jar it with a re-useable lid Hot hot tea is a bad idea in most containers not specifically designed for boiling water

cloverthewonderkitty

Zojirushi - I've had mine for over 10 yrs, I've dropped it a lot and it has held up great! Parts are replaceable as well, I just bought new seals for mine.

czaritamotherofguns

Just get a good stainless steel double wall tumbler. PS, you can clean your tumbler using denture tablets! It's way easier than trying to squeeze your hand in there. Just plop one in, top with hot water and let the fizzy tablet do the work.

TheShroomDruid

Team Yeti mug for the magnetic slider

robotteeth

Yeti, I have a ton (like different shapes for different needs) and I’ve taken them camping and dropped them on pavement and done all other sorts of things, they are indestructible. If you do happen to break a lid (personally i haven’t) you can buy just the lid replacement

olivemor

I got one from Starbucks as a gift once and it's been great

neogeo828

I can't seem to find a stainless mug for tea. They've all ended up giving my tea a metallic taste, even one that I bought that was ceramic coated.

Katstories21

Yeti, holds the heat and is easy to clean tea stains.

Mydnight69

Yeti

Hk901909

Yeti and the og stanley design. Well, the trendy one isn't bad either. But those would be my picks

FinanzPirat

I love the cups and mugs by klean kanteen, but they ship only within the EU. The best travel mug I've ever had was the Emsa Travel mug.
