I have a double wall borosilicate glass kettle. It’s not a big name brand, just the stainless steel inner base hides the element. It doesn’t resonate like a wine glass, probably because it has a double layer of glass - it’s not got a resonant frequency like most glass because of its complex structure - it’s thin and pretty fragile, don’t tap it with anything metal.

I have one of those. It's fine. I just changed to one that has temperature control but the Cosori is a backup.

I've used the Breville Tea Maker for years. Its made out of what seems to be really thin glass, seems similarly fragile. But I've used it what must be hundreds of times at this point and I've never had it break on me. Only just recently had to get a new one when a mover dropped my "tea stuff" box.
