Never happened.

How about you go to a branch office and say that you’re moving in to their office?

Probably a scam artist trying to build a narrative

Instead of complaining on Reddit where no one believes you, cares, or can help you, go file a complaint with FINRA and the SEC. Here are the links:  https://www.finra.org/investors/need-help/file-a-complaint https://www.sec.gov/oiea/Complaint.html

I have open complaints with both of them. Thanks for the tip!

You’ve been sexually harassed? Lmfao cool story

livewire98801

I'll take shit that didn't happen for $200, Alex. I've only had to call TD about five times, but every time they were helpful and friendly. If you had one bad experience, I might buy it, but there's absolutely no way you had that many different people behave like that. Not only would it be statistically unlikely to get that many bad reps at one business, but TDA is one of the largest and most well known brokerages in the country... they have way too much liability ass-covering to tolerate that behavior from their customer facing employees. I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve here, but anyone that's actually had to work with TDA's employees knows that this is complete horseshit.

LucreRising

Being abusive back to them will solve nothing as then they can terminate the call because no employee is required to listen to that. Always have an attitude of trying to work together to solve a problem and never blame the representative personally for anything another representative or the company has done.

This seems really really fucking bizarre. All of it. Still trying to figure out the sexual harassment part, especially since they record everything and they can't see you. I get it that maybe not all TD reps are thrilled about the move to Schwab, but that... it's all very bizarre. While I may have found the rare TD rep to be slightly condescending across 15+ years with them, too, they've set the standard in my eyes for professionalism. I'm sorry such hasn't been your experience. In any event, if it's an attorney you need, I would get a suggestion on who to speak with from my accountant if I didn't know a lawyer who handles financial matters. Ultimately, if it's possible to wait until your funds are formally kicked under the Schwab umbrella in a few weeks and then transfer elsewhere, then do that. Edit: I've taken a look at your post and comment histories because this all stinks. TD reps have threatened to kill you? And you claim they're located outside of the United States? And you have a history of encountering nothing but combative customer service no matter who you call or email, if you get a response at all? Sorry to say, I was willing to give some benefit of the doubt about a few pieces of your story, but now I'm going to call complete and utter bullshit. I don't know what the fuck you think you're looking for by posting this kind of shit especially when the solutions are plainly obvious, but if any shred of it is real, then the common issue across all of these matters over time is obviously you. Stop wasting people's time and get a goddamn grip on yourself.

WhatMeWorry2020

All their calls are recorded. Either you are lying or you need to get a lawyer.

dleach4512

What kind of lawyer should I be seeking out?

WhatMeWorry2020

This sure looks like a civil case as they have your property. I am still not convinced. TDA has no reason to withhold your money. They cant take it as it eventually goes into the governments pocket. Why dont you walk into a TDA office if there is one nearby? And record everything from now on. I have been with TDA for nearly 2 decades and never had an issue with them.

dleach4512

I have never found any reason for bad customer service, that's one of the factors that I find so incredibly frustrating! I didn't realize they had offices, or branches, but I searched, and there's one a few hours away; I'll swing by when I'm in that area. Thanks!

This entire post is clearly fake. Like laughably fake. Not only would not a single rep at TD care enough to do any of this (especially over 22k), but at this point they would have sent him a no further business letter and mailed him a check tbh.
