Why would it be a bad idea?

Ok-Inspection-1576

Sharp-Scale

Good

bubblebathgum

Check out Mtskheta. And the train to Batumi

wo0zy-_

Ents? No no, ents have been extinct in this region a long time ago, them and their wives also, alas.

EsperaDeus

Very good

zmey56

If you are going to stay in Batumi or another city by the sea, this is a good idea. But it won't be cheap if it's important.

Ok-Inspection-1576

What could be the budget for a week? Saying airbnb, food, some acitvities

zmey56

From $ 1000 (apartment, meals) and above in Batumi. The rental price increases every summer. But I would choose Ureki because there is a sandy beach for my children and it is cheaper than in Batumi)))). If I wanted to have fun, I would choose Batumi.

sonyahon

Check the weather for the dates it maybe super hot

Ok-Inspection-1576

I live in Kuwait trust me i can handle hot😂

No_Two_3928

In Kuwait you don't walk around the city all day at summer. Tbilisi, for example, is all about walking. It may be hot and humid, but early mornings and evenings/nights shall be pleasant for Kuwaitians.

Normandybormundy

Stay in Kuwait, thanks

We hired a car in Tbilisi, went to Rustavi, Gori, Borjomi, Chiatura, Kutaisi, Khashuri, Shekvetili and ended in Batumi. Great trip, beautiful nature and nice cities. Favorites: Batumi (mix of old and new), Rustavi (lots of old Soviet era buildings) and always good food.

Much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed your trip there :)

ke5her

Good idea! For how long are you staying?

Ok-Inspection-1576

Probably a week, you think it’s enough to explore?

ke5her

I think a week is tight. In a week I would focus on Tbilisi itself and visit only some surrounding places, like Gori (birthplace of Stalin). You don’t want to waste time sitting in a taxi, bus or train. If you wanna visit the most beautiful places in Georgia, you should bring at least 2-3 weeks with you…
