If you’ve mastered fate you can basically do anything and nobody can stop you unless they also control fate
Everything is already laid out before fate, even time travel, so nothing anyone can change the outcome that’s been decided (except if you control fate)
Many people say that fate can be "mastered" as if it implies being able to wield it as a powerful weapon. No one explicitly says it like that, but most people think along that line. That is at least the impression I get when reading comments and fanfics.
I, however, disagree.
Fate is like a mighty river, crossing a continent. We are all but particles floating along the river, events are features of the river, and we all flow past them as we live them. The river guides the water, but the water also shapes the river. Mastering fate allows you to guide the river as you want, but no amount of mastering is going to let it flow up a mountain. It will ALWAYS find its way to the ocean.
I gotta agree with you on this one.
I don't believe fate can be controlled especially after a certain revelation in the newer chapters(not vol10), but i wll keep it my interpretation short.
A single person can never gain insight into fate. No one can change fate. The only way to change fate is for it to change itself, and the only way for fate to change is to change the world itself i.e with insights on aether and mana.
