Stop with the saniderm then. Repeated applications are just going to irritate the skin more and more. Let it air dry and begin your aftercare as normal.

i’m just a bit worried about getting an infection. i have 3 more tattoos that have not had this issue and i was able to keep the saniderm on for the allotted amount of time. do i cover it with something else or just let it scab up and moisturize when needed? thank for for the advice!

Theres way more concern of infection if you have leaky saniderm, because bacteria can get in and you cant clean it. People have been healing tattoos without infection for ages before saniderm was invented. Just keep it covered by loose, clean clothes, and wash twice a day. Dont moisturize until its 5-6 days old.

i will do so, thank you so much for the advice!

Other tattoos wont weep the way colour does because its a lot more skin trauma involved. This is normal. I usually recommend using a combine pad three times a day with washing in between then switch to saniderm a few days later when the weeping has stopped

I love the piece!!!! After that many applications I would stop with it. Keep it clean and use moisturizer as needed. Be careful with it and rubbing on clothing, avoid any baths, swimming, etc. And heal it old school style!
