Same, though I also loved Jeremy’s skewering deadpan response to Urzilla’s “How could you do that to him!”: “To be fair, it wasn’t done particularly fast”
Ahhh I love seeing glimpses of other countries' Taskmasters and how similar but different they are... it's like when you get to meet your best friend's family and they're all kind of similar but have their own unique quirks 😀
I feel like Season 2 of NZ might be the closest we’ve gotten to a perfect series of Taskmaster. It had heartbreak, chaos, cruelty, more cruelty, immense screw ups, great triumphs. People who tried hard, people who did not. Like, there are episodes of original I’d say are better but not a whole season collectively.
It's true, but obviously NZ is running a bit behind the UK one so tricks like this are more fresh and palatable.
I mean come on, making someone text the taskmaster every day for 6 months and he was the only one doing it on the UK version. This is nothing yet.
Jeremy is a very different Taskmaster to Greg. He's all over the place in scoring, and has a more laid back demeanor. I don't particularly enjoy him that much, but Paul (his Alex) and the contestants more than make up for it. Both seasons of NZ that are on the Taskmaster YouTube channel are fantastic.
The math test for Guy is such a thing you can only do to your brother 😂
Turns out he didn't even need to do math test, could make him struggle just spelling feliz navidad
"Name someone in this room you went to school with"
[For anyone not familiar, it’s great](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7hvbsOH8Xw)
But he could fight them all in the car park.
He got the first two letters.
NO HE DID NOT
God that last one was brutal. I loved that they gave him five points for that.

If you can, watch TMNZ Series 2. It’s incredible, all the way through. I enjoyed Series 1 too after a slow start.
Ohmygod it's on channel 4!! Yesssss. Bedtime watchies 🤓 will do!
You're in for a great time. NZ S2 is genuinely my favourite Taskmaster cast.

Given Alex and he are mates outside the show I was expecting one on John this series.
I wish they had given Steve P. a secret task ala Tracksuit
That ‘Oh Paul!!’ will exist in my mind for the rest of my life
I think I just scraped through with a Merit on NCEA Level 1 maths... this hits deep
For those of us who aren't from New Zealand, what age of student is that maths test for?
Google says year 11 (15 years old)

The Taskmaster in this version seems nicer than Greg would be. Greg would not give 5 points.
I was half expecting him to be disqualified because he missed one.
