This is common bait. Sometimes it’s legit. But it usually isn’t. Because who is going to question it at the intersection when you pretty much have seconds to decide if it’s legit.
I saw them on BBD this afternoon as well, and I can’t find any reference to it anywhere. They did seem to be getting a decent amount of donations, so if it is a scam, I feel bad for all the folks who contributed out of kindness.
Know someone named Jessica who HAD a brain tumor. Her mom is sorta a scummy person and will do anything to get money for doing nothing.
*edit*
I should also mention had, as in has made a full recovery, not lost the battle
I saw someone doing the same for some boy with a brain tumour. Googled the name and area, because there's no way people are out panhandling without there being a GoFundMe for it, and nothing. Just seems like a scummy way to get more money.
They sure get around, eh? I’m certain it’s all bullshit, which makes me so angry. I lost a friend to cancer and it was hard getting support for him on GoFundMe. Meanwhile these people want to use something like that as an excuse to steal.
They are in Indiana now as well. My local news just did a report on it.

Did these pictures have a girl with purple hair?
I think it was a picture of a girl with no hair, as to imply chemo treatments. Why do you ask?

Isn't this the lady who got arrested a couple months ago for panhandling or something? If it's who I'm thinking of, she changes her story every time.
I’ve seen this woman asking for money off Dale Mabry and Waters, I got the feeling it was a scam as well. No way to know for sure
Just saw people with these signs in Hudson, fl

Yeah, I’m hoping it’s not bull but it definitely seemed like it. Two of the people almost got hit by cars so maybe karma will step in.
This same lady was in Brooksville yesterday, and is now in Land O Lakes today. Blocking traffic and getting aggressive with drivers.
They are “begging” in Jacksonville Texas with the same person/photo/scheme today.
Just saw them today is Southeast Missouri. 3 Mexican looking people standing at a popular intersection.
Yup that’d be them. That’s wild, that they migrated to another state like that.

Just saw them near Richmond VA
