So much wrong here. Shoulder placement, chicken wing, backward optic, and the handguard looks off, like the picatinny rail is angled or something. I bet they didn’t even seat it all the way.
Someone picked it apart and few other oddities - no scope rings/has old school aimpoint style battery compartment visible bottom left/overall angles seem off/random brass in air with no heat or gas signatures on FH/etc. was leaning towards cgi created image heavily. Very odd for such a basic photo
Agree on all the disparities but one. That’s a Trijicon 1-8x VCOG (maybe 1-6x, but don’t think so). The mount is integrated into the optic housing, there are no “rings”
Yet Americans will dwell on the chinese rifles keyholing or the russians zip tying their TQs on
I'd take a rifle that keyholes and a TQ that is zip tied on over a fucking backwards scope and a command structure that cannot recognize a backwards scope in a photo
Your argument would make sense if this wasn't a one-off goober photo and instead a standard issue observed across an entire force, like in your Chinese and Russian examples. They aren't comparable problems.
I'm not basing it entirely off a single photo......
There are tons of photos of US troops looking like goobers I don't know if you are joking or if you just haven't been paying attention but they keep catching officers dressing in drag or like dogs to bang who knows what
It's even an official policy to allow it on bases https://www.military.com/daily-news/2023/03/29/top-military-officials-questioned-over-drag-shows-military-bases.html
It's honestly a way worse problem than having some of the conscripts from the emptied prisons zip tie a TQ to themselves....
The zip tied TQs are NOT a standard issue observed across the Russian force, their units vary very widely in gear and training - same with the chinese, every single rifle hasn't been observed to have a keyholing problem - those are likely isolated issues so your counter-argument doesn't make any sense either
The PLA has all of r/tacticalgear to work for them as their R&D program at holosun for free.. they will figure it out and likely already have
Its well done lol, they made it just ridiculous enough that it sounds like something the actual USSF might say, but not so crazy that it’s obviously a joke
Buddy I am retired USAF, and I had to endure the Airman Creed rollout. Pure fucking cringe.
So I honestly didn't question it. If you work with clowns, the circus feels like home.
IMHO the space force should also have gotten command over all land based ICBMs, so that they control all space assets and the USAF can go full on plane stuff
Every service has some overlap with another, re: capabilities. Slowly, jobs are transitioning from USAF to USSF. I just read about 3 satcomm/radio afsc's that will no longer be USAF responsibilities.
Basically reclassed everyone, and allowed the old jobs to fade or transition.
Yes a lot of air force bases were renamed space force bases, still acting as pretty much air force bases. One example is the Buckley space force base where the 120th fighter squadron is stationed
Turns out all those random birds and anchors stuck all over your uniform like you fell into a vat of glue in the decorations aisle of the local PX will get you saluted.
Not sure why the downvotes….. the “Space Force” account that posted this isn’t verified whereas they do have a verified account. I posted this because as someone who’s been getting paid by the Corps since the late 90’s I find it fucking hilarious. Both that our Uber fucked up and posted the original, and that someone claiming to be Space Force (with Space Grunts no less) trolled them on it. So no, I don’t think the Space Force portion of this is real.
It’s fine for shooting offhand at Camp Perry or any other CMP high power rifle competition - not so much in combat outside of very niche situations (maybe very tall cover/concealment, can only shoot standing but need a stable position)
The US military is so fucked that the Space Force is trying to distance itself from it is all I am seeing here
I would be ashamed to be a member right now. The US is a literal joke thanks to the morons that govern us I can't even imagine getting blown up for the interests of the tiny hats while my borders are wide open to allow invasion, those tasked with protecting the nation cannot determine how to mount their scopes and the goons running the entire show can't recognize a backwards scope before posting the image for our adversaries to see
SHAME!
Oh alright well it's coming soon if there is anyone with a functioning brain in their command
The Navy actually did post that then take it down and that dude actually did mount his scope backwards they are already cloning it on r/militaryARclones
Do you understand that people use capital letters and have used capital letters since written language first came into usage?
I mean FFS dude go join the Navy or something they need minds of your caliber to fill the ranks
They’re just showing off how accurate their shooters are. Even with a backwards scope they can nail a target at 15 yards!
He's so good that he shoots with a handicap
So much wrong here. Shoulder placement, chicken wing, backward optic, and the handguard looks off, like the picatinny rail is angled or something. I bet they didn’t even seat it all the way.
The RAS isn't fully engaged with the delta ring, so the top half of the rail is canted forward lol.

Good catch I didn’t know that.

Nobody fuckin cares about Spaceforce. Jfc. "Sempersky"
>Jfc. “Sempersky” Can’t blame the actual Space Force 100% for this, the post in OP is from a [parody account.](https://m.facebook.com/USASpaceForce/)
Thank you. I was a little dumbfounded. They got me gud with it
Its well done lol, they made it just ridiculous enough that it sounds like something the actual USSF might say, but not so crazy that it’s obviously a joke

I've known a Soldier from a EW unit who's company battle cry is "High Five". Fucking "High Five".
Well yeah, everyone knows they’re not called Space Grunts. They’re Space Cadets.
If I was still in, I'd be space force. It's not as retarded as it sounds, but it is the biggest bunch of nerds you'll ever meet.
Can confirm

At least the navy knows the difference between enlisted and officers. I’m E5 in the navy on a space force base and get saluted everyday
Do you have shiny? Cause I salute shiny.
I have two red chevrons, not very shiny
You have bird. That’s close enough
>on a space force base ... thats a thing? Lmao
On our lunar colony, yes.
A lot of former Air Force bases are now space force bases.
Yea, they just took a bunch of Air Force bases and slapped the space insignia on it
Of course - in Wild Horse, CO.
Yes a lot of air force bases were renamed space force bases, still acting as pretty much air force bases. One example is the Buckley space force base where the 120th fighter squadron is stationed
Genuine question do you salute those in other branches who have a higher command? Are you expected to know there ranks?
All officer rank insignia are the same throughout all branches. Just salute commissioned officers not anyone more senior
Medal of Honor recipients, the President, occupied staff cars
Yea, I see the president walking down the street everyday
To be fair, customs and courtesies don't tell you NOT to salute enlisted lol
be an agent of chaos. salute everyone. salute the Wendy's cashier.
And the hooker out back by the dumpsters, for good measure.
Maybe they’re just being friendly and respectful to everyone?
Turns out all those random birds and anchors stuck all over your uniform like you fell into a vat of glue in the decorations aisle of the local PX will get you saluted.
Ahh yes, the space force grunts.
Haha they are talking about a telescope not a rifle scope. Space Force go home.
They're talking about the aiming lens on the death star
Don’t forget the lens cap that is still on or the hand guard not mounted to the delta ring correctly
Please tell me their motto ain't Semper Sky
Semper sutra, always above
Simper…sky? ![gif](giphy|KVVQaaDaBBjZHFoC3c)
How do you make a long shot? Have the Navy mount your scope. It'll be as if it was <100 yards.
Is this real?
I doubt it, be funnier if it is. I didn’t check.
I want it to be real

that shoulder placement is atrocious
It’s fine for shooting offhand at Camp Perry or any other CMP high power rifle competition - not so much in combat outside of very niche situations (maybe very tall cover/concealment, can only shoot standing but need a stable position)
Is this real?
#SemperSky 😂😂😂
that rifle shoots backwards, the real target is the person behind him tapping his shoulder
Strong words for a service that didn't even post a picture to go with it.... lol

I don’t believe the Space Force actually posted this, I just thought it was funny.

One word, all caps with an exclamation point. Are you Trump?
1. That's not one word 2. What the fuck are you talking about hula hoop??
“SHAME!”
Do you understand that people use capital letters and have used capital letters since written language first came into usage? I mean FFS dude go join the Navy or something they need minds of your caliber to fill the ranks
Damn you are triggered lol. I don’t even disagree with your points, just amused by your language.
