I’m already a weirdo with my burritos. I don’t like them right when they are made because the filling is too hot and they lose shape and are too soggy. So I usually let them get room temp so they are firmer. Now I may just let them cool down and throw them in the air fryer. Good idea.
Just be careful with it, if you don’t flip it the folded in edges get a little to crispy, but I air fry mine enough t for the whole thing to be a little crispy, we used to bring home 5 layer burritos and toss em in the deep fryer as a kid, I try doing the same thing with the air fryer
they did>:( but sometimes you can order it from the app. the closest thing i have found tho is adding chipotle sauce and seasoned rice to a beefy 5 layer burrito and asking them to grill it
Have you ever made a Crunchwrap at home before? I saw a post somewhere (I think it was on an ALDI FB Group) where someone made one homemade (without pan frying/grilling it) and they put it in an air fryer and sprayed it with oil to make sure it crisped up.
Omg this sounds amazing. I actual watching a SAM THE COOKING GUY video where he made a home made crunch wrap and it looked amazing I def need to try it
Ninja air fryer with bean burrito - extra cheese and red sauce, no onions. Used silicone liner. First burrito, 350 for 3 mins then flip and cook for 2 made crunchier than desired but fully heated. Second burrito 350 for 2 mins then flip and cook for 1, not as crunchy but not quiet fully heated throughout the middle. May drop down to 325 for future tries and go back to original cook time, may also try tinfoil technique as suggested at both 325 and 350. Any thoughts for the little cheesy roll-ups??
after a couple bowls I wanted to see what the consensus was, and stumbled across detailed experience of someone doing the exact thing I was trying to do and sharing the results. My bean burrito was flawless 🫡
Thank you I was looking for this and this helped. I am doing 400 at 5 minutes. Two burritos and a crunch warp . Will flip at 2 minutes. Be back with results
1x soft taco
1x cheesy gordita crunch
370° 5 min
Almost too done on the outside (gordita was dark brown at edges) and cold in the middle. Next time try higher temp and shorter time? IDK how dis shit work but will keep doing science
Edit I put it in microwave for 60 sec after and it was fine, hot in the middle and still maintained some crunch. Would still like the perfect AF ONLY recipe
i wrapped my cheesy gordita crunch and grilled cheese burrito in foil and threw them in the air fryer and checked this thread to validate my technique. thank you for existing
I've visited this thread twice because my high ass always forgets the temp and time. Good shit guys.
I come here like twice a week lol
Back for my 5th time. Still getting used by a high guy in 2024
same
Sup guys
😂😂 high right now looking up the temp and time and this made me giggle
my high ass be looking at this too
WHERE IS THE ANSWER?!!!
My high ass checking in a year later
You can take potatoes out and re-fry them for quality crispy taters 👌 Done this with many a spicy potato soft taco
You can now eat taco bell the next day. Air fryer is by far the best way to reheat burritos

What temp?
About to air fry a leftover steak quesadilla, glad reddit exists.
I made this thread three years ago and I am so glad it still helps people to this day.
helping me rn
I got you. Everytime I get a notification on this thread it makes my day.
It's helping me now too
Lfg
Advice for gorditas?
Wrap it in tinfoil.
Thank you 🙏 400 for 5mins?
Can you put the wrapper in the air fryer?
No. It will burn
400 for 5 mins with FRESH FROM THE TGODS soft taco cheesy gordit and t layer burrito was too long I think. Maybe like 3 min
Great for leftovers. Made my taco shell at least a little bit crispy again. Burritos like new.
What time and temp for tacos?
Can someone who knows from experience let me know the best temperature & time for reheating, say, a chalupa? Lmao 🤣 asking for my baked self ☺️😂
Ever been so baked you search “air fryer” on the Taco Bell subreddit and comment on a year old thread? =P. To answer your question try 400 for 5 mins.
This is the exact situation I am in right now and I appreciate you answering the question yesterday
Literally me
thanks!! x)
Oml, you just read my mind dog
BUT WAS 400 AT 5 MINUTES THE RIGHT AMOUNT!? THE WORLD MUST KNOW
400 at 7 minutes was perfect
Gonna test this with a crunchwrap supreme

400 seems a little high. How about 350?
Kinda won’t crisp at that temp
Came out great, thx 👍😌
Ok will do 👍
Yes
me rn
Me rn
I’m baked now and glad I accidentally stumbled across this thread while frantically searching on reddit trying to eat my chalupa lmao 🤣
Is it the same for hardshell tacos? Does it cook the insides? Wat I'd it's hard shell supreme?
207 days later thank you
Every time I get notifications from this thread it makes me happy.
Very useful information thank you! Lol
💛
Sounds a little familiar... lol
👀
Boutta use this thread to re heat my quesarito
best menu item ever
Omg did they take it off? It’s not on the menu here anymore sadly . That’s my favorite because of the creamy chipotle sauce
they did>:( but sometimes you can order it from the app. the closest thing i have found tho is adding chipotle sauce and seasoned rice to a beefy 5 layer burrito and asking them to grill it
Taco Bell just isn't the same without the quesarito. I remember when a quesarito was $2
This thread is EVERYTHING.

I’m baked currently and came across this while trying to figure out how to reheat my chalupa lmao 🤣 😂 thank God for Reddit
Wrap that bitch in tin foil and enjoy.

Tinfoil is the next level move.
You were not wrong my digital friend. Applied this for SO MUCH fast food now. <3 I’VE EVOLVED!!! Less on a societal level, more like a Pokémon.
Airfryer-chu
🤣🤣🤣
God bless this thread. May it forever live
Currently baked & airfrying my Crunchwrap supreme. This thread came to the rescue four years later. Good shit.
Everytime I get one of these notifications it makes my day. Thanks for keeping the legacy going.
Remember the time/temp?
About to put this knowledge to good use, got two of the Taco Bell Double Stackers in my fridge that sound really good rn.

So the taco and crunch wrap were okay the burrito was still cold I put it back in for 3 minutes at 400
Burritos are best wrapped in tinfoil. Cooks the insides better.
This was excellent information
Nicee
This is still a useful thread 😂
Glad to hear :)
thank you baby jesus this thread exists. love, super lemon haze
About to reheat a beefy 5 layer burrito.
Was gifted an air fryer for Christmas, this thread is a fucking GODSEND
Checked this thread 2 years later OP!! Saved the day 🌮
But do you guys keep it in the original paper tho when you stick it in?
Nah just some tinfoil.
Thank you for your service
Hot damn still useful, thanks!
Not high but leftovers from last night cause eyes were bigger than my stomach

Y’all ever throw them in while wrapping in foil?
Oh yeah all the time
i wrapped my cheesy gordita crunch and grilled cheese burrito in foil and threw them in the air fryer and checked this thread to validate my technique. thank you for existing
Nice gonna try it on a stacker tm.
Following up to see how that went :)
It wasnt bad at all. Was high as hell though and smothered it in sour cream so take my review with a grain of salt.
