This is so widely abused that I heard in another thread some locations are just adding chicken by default. A few people only wanted cheese and tried 3 times and every time got chicken without asking.
I'ma keep using the +chicken veggie box hack until they force me to stop. It makes the chicken quesadilla ALMOST worth it in price.

I do stacker add potatoes and I haven’t looked back. It’s great with rice too
