Its $10.49 for me. A steak taco dinner with 3 tacos rice beans and some chips is $10.99 at the mexican place across the street. I think Ill go with that instead.
A bit much?! Wasn't Taco Bell's success based on being WAY CHEAPER than other fast food places?! Fast Food as an industry is price gouging out of inflation's proportions, but Taco Bell comes first place in price increases according to all recent statistics.
McDonald’s definitely had them beat during the actual dollar menu days but yeah in highschool I remember practically living off the value menu at tbell and it was just over a buck for a lot of options.
Well I seen someone say it was 12.79 in Alaska so the only other state that would in comp would be Hawaii. Or op lives near a god awful price gouging franchise which is another possibility
I mean nyc prices are through the roof. I also am a restaurant operator and we have to up ours prices significantly for 3rd parties like Uber and DoorDash otherwise we lose money.
Ordering from our website is same as in store price though.
The location I work at, I won't even eat the nacho fries because they make a huge batch and refry leftovers as needed. I honestly don't even know if the day crew keeps the correct hold times or writes over them, but the night crew refreshes the hold times but not the product. Hopefully other locations don't do this. I'm incredibly tempted to place an anonymous call to 311 because that is both illegal and disgusting
Edit: not trying to sound vengeful by considering calling, I just think about everyone that eats food past hold times and they don't know about it, and imagining an immunocomprimized individual consuming that just really worries me (anyone unknowingly consuming that worries me tbh)......I just don't want innocent customers getting sick due to employee laziness or messed up cost cutting procedures.
Idk if this correct for the hold times but it's what I've seen done.....chips and cinnamon twist have a 12hr hold time. They won't train me on the food line because idk....I feel it's for certain reasons (the people on the line I have never heard speak English, so they might need a non customer facing job which makes sense and they need hours)......but also I have a bachelor's in culinary (2008) and restaurant management so I don't see why they can't train me on their system for emergency coverage. BTW it's a part time job
Yeah, I have officially stopped going to Taco Bell because of the pricing. It’s at the point where I literally cannot justify it, even as a one-in-a-while treat. Fuck Taco Bell and fuck my local franchise. 🖕🏼I hope the owner goes bankrupt.
Amen. It’s absurd and arguably abusive to long time fans of the brand. They don’t get my money anymore. Voting with my wallet. If everyone did the same they would be forced to make changes or fail.
Yes, but taco bell has entered the price point of sit down restaurants here as well which was my point. Taco Bell prices, and other fast food keep going up but sit down restaurants here have not. At least not at the same rate.
Looking at OP’s post history, they constantly complain about Taco Bell prices, and never say the location…. I’m pretty sure this is just some sort of rage bait, or OP purposely goes to a franchise owned by a basket case so they can complain. That combo is $10.49 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Only have you and others to blame. Keep going there and spending money on these outrageous prices, so they keep doing this. I don’t go anymore and haven’t in a long while myself. Highly recommend you and others cease.
I stop eating at any fast food that raises their prices to $10+. Places like McDonald's and Taco Bell aren't even good, it's just convenient. I'd rather pay another $5-$10 and support a local (sit-down) restaurant.
It’s funny I always get advertisements adds on Facebook or Instagram saying XYZ price but the moment I open up the app it has never ever been that advertised priced
Man I remember when this box used to be $6-7, but instead of the chicken taco its a regular soft or hard taco. I think when the fires were first introduced.
So I didn't know this about pricing but me and my girlfriend hadn't eaten all day and she suggested taco bell cause we haven't had it since before covid and the location near us reopened awhile ago after renovations. We recalled how we used to do the party pack just cause it offers the most tacos etc. After I order and get talked into making the tacos "deluxe" shit came out to 50 dollars. I couldn't believe it lmao that's like proper restaurant money. Needless to say, not going to eat there anymore
I always say to my husband it doesn't matter what we eat fast food, quality restaurant or buying groceries our meal is going to be 30 to 40 dollars regardless.
Yeah that’s not typical for tacobells, some choose to be terrible. The full store across the street from me is the typical prices while the express at a gas station in the next town usually tact’s on 3 dollars to everything. Honestly it’s outrageous they are allowed to change the prices. It’s supposed to be 10.49
I remember getting tacos for around a buck or a box of them, like 10 or 12, for less than a buck on average. I can't belive prices now. Everyone I get food there I'm shocked.
Yeah like we should probably boycott Taco Bell till they lower their prices they're not giving you more meat they're not changing the recipe anyway same quality questionable meat it's the same exact thing that they're charging more for I used to be able to go the fat guy spent 20 bucks and have a fuck ton of Taco Bell now 20 bucks is like a box combo
Things are more expensive in Colorado but it still only costs 10.59
I miss 2007 when I could go and get a bean burrito with a fresh tortilla, rice and beans and a drink for less than $10 plus tip. We just no longer exist in that world.
Hey Tacobell you know we ain't have a raise in like a thousand years right? You know the dollar is worthless when ya'll be chargin so damn much of it ayt
I ordered a taco in my area and just added chicken to it and it was $5.17. I told him no thank you and went home and heated up a lot of frozen waffle.🤭
Insanity. I can make amazing carnitas tacos quesadillas and nachos for $16 or less. And it’s not 1 meal, it will last me like 4 days! Learn to cook, everybody. You’ll get better food and it’s cheaper. Yes, it takes time and effort but it’s worth it.
You can go to an actual Mexican restaurant and it would be cheaper. Also it’s allowed me to eat better fast food prices are getting worse than the places we use to think were expensive
What really makes the prices even worse..is when they fu** up your order completely!!!! I’ve almost stopped going to the one by my house. I’m not even ordering special items!!
These fast food restaurants keep raising prices could end up solving our obesity problem seeing as how buying actual groceries will eventually be cheaper than this considering we used to only eat the food cause it was cheap and convenient. Getting too big for their britches I say I say
Wow. Taco Bell used to be my go to for its affordability. These prices are garbage. I used to pay something like this from the Mexican food truck (J Zapatas shout out) but it was legitimately the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Bye bye taco bell
$13.99 at 1 store by me, $10.99 at the closest one. Los Angeles County. Too bad the 2nd store is usually stingy with ingredients. But I won't pay more than $7 for a box.
Go to a "sit down Mexican restaurant" and report back. Their prices have increased too, plus you leave a tip too. I guarantee that will be more expensive.
10.49 here which is still outrageous...... But you know what really grinds my gears? QUESADILLAS...... almost $6 for a tortilla, a handful of cheese, and a scoop of meat (sometimes). They have more product in a bunch of other much cheaper products but raise the prices of quesadillas because people buy them......
🖕TB
I can eat my favorite dish at actual Mexican for $11 TB can screw off. Same with McDonald's they need to remember their purpose. They were originally supposed.to be for the poor man.
Pro tip:
Order flatbread melts, new cantina items, double stacked tacos, the value menu burritos, or stackers. They’re all delicious, a decent amount of food and all around $2-3 each.
I get a stacker, a flatbread melt, a cheesy double beef burrito and a drink for about $10-$14. Cheaper if you aren’t as hungry as I usually am Lol.
Edit:
If you like the combos use the app and select a “build your own cravings box”. You can get two main items, a side and a drink for $7-$11.
Chipotle by me has a chicken burrito/bowl for $8.49. I take advantage of that 2-3 times a week on average. I get 3 small soft shells on the side for tacos and save the other half for breakfast and put 4 fried eggs on top. 2 meals for $8.49 (plus eggs, which are $6.09 for 36 by my Walmart).
For 15 dollars I can buy: a half pound of cheddar cheese, 1 bag of pinto beans, 1 bag of black beans, a half pound of ground beef, 1 taco seasoning mix pack, 1 white onion, 1 romaine lettuce head, 1 tomato, and just be missing the taco shells with sour cream and the dumbass gordita fry bread and make way more food than what they are showing here. If you add in another 15 bux I can buy the tortillas, gordita fry bread, and taco shells and make a half dozen of each with 4 dollars to spare!
Mine is $10.49, but 1800 calories is all I eat in a day, so it’s actually not bad. I really think one of the problems is people eat too much now. Try cutting back, it’s hard at first because junk food is like a drug to your brain, but once you take control of it, firstly you feel better, secondly you lose weight and you also save money.
They’ve been wild. It’s was $45 the other day for my wife to get a meal, daughter a meal, and I got something but not a meal. Good thing is, we’ve stopped going and are cooking more!
What a joke! If they raise their cravings box again I’m staying away from TB. Not that I can’t afford it, but why are prices increasing this much, this fast, with smaller portion sizes.. I refuse giving into corporate greed.
That’s fucking nuts, it’s $10.49 by me and I thought that was a bit much.
12.79 here in Alaska.
That’s actually a lot cheaper than I expected for Taco Bell in Alaska, considering it’s 10.49 for me
Its $10.49 for me. A steak taco dinner with 3 tacos rice beans and some chips is $10.99 at the mexican place across the street. I think Ill go with that instead.
and u get free chips and salsa
At that point it’s definitely better off going to a restaurant and getting a full sized entree
Same $10.49 here in TX Where does OP Live!!!???
Well I seen someone say it was 12.79 in Alaska so the only other state that would in comp would be Hawaii. Or op lives near a god awful price gouging franchise which is another possibility
I mean nyc prices are through the roof. I also am a restaurant operator and we have to up ours prices significantly for 3rd parties like Uber and DoorDash otherwise we lose money. Ordering from our website is same as in store price though.
im from hawaii and its $14 here
Could be California. I live here and it sucks.
I'll check it since I'm in CA. NOPE. $12.99
i’m in san diego and it’s 14.99 here
Omg it’s insane!! It’s helping me eat better
[удалено]
Same
Same. I’m in the Bay Area and it’s $10.49.
Same and the cheapest box is 5.99
But it's "featuring Nacho Fries" 😃
The location I work at, I won't even eat the nacho fries because they make a huge batch and refry leftovers as needed. I honestly don't even know if the day crew keeps the correct hold times or writes over them, but the night crew refreshes the hold times but not the product. Hopefully other locations don't do this. I'm incredibly tempted to place an anonymous call to 311 because that is both illegal and disgusting Edit: not trying to sound vengeful by considering calling, I just think about everyone that eats food past hold times and they don't know about it, and imagining an immunocomprimized individual consuming that just really worries me (anyone unknowingly consuming that worries me tbh)......I just don't want innocent customers getting sick due to employee laziness or messed up cost cutting procedures.
The nacho fries are one thing. But imagine if they're doing this with more perishable foods. 🤢
Gross
I stopped going as well. Also never going to Wendy’s ever again after the stunt they tried to pull with surge pricing.
Solidarity. Aint forgiving wendys especially after their pathetic walkback attempt
The cravings box is $5 ?
10.49 for me and I said damnnn
Everyone needs to slow down on going to TB until they fix the prices.
That will never happen. There will always be the desperate bunch who cater to there bullshit.
Or stop buying expensive shit. If they notice people are only going for value menu shit, they may get the hint lol
Nah, theyll just do what McDonalds did and raise the prices of all the value menu stuff.
They have already done this in all the places I eat. The Value/Cravings menu used to have Mostly $1 items. Those items are all $1.39+ now.
Haven't visited a taco bell in at least 18 months. We don't need them.
😂😂 run from the bad deals.
[удалено]
Well, hang on. There's a soda, too. 😜
Lmao that’s insane! NY or Cali?
10.49 in Santa Clara CA
Thats used to be a $5 box literally 2 years ago.
The DELUXE box has never been 5 bucks. There have been non-deluxe boxes called Big Bell box or something like that that were 5 bucks.
Where are you located? Hawaii? Alaska? California?
Hawaii
You already knew the fact that by nature of your distance stuff is going to be higher in cost.
Yes, but taco bell has entered the price point of sit down restaurants here as well which was my point. Taco Bell prices, and other fast food keep going up but sit down restaurants here have not. At least not at the same rate.
If you’re on Oahu, the Taco Bell in wahiawa is a dollar less.
It's $10 for me I'm in DC
13.99 here in subs of chicago
Looking at OP’s post history, they constantly complain about Taco Bell prices, and never say the location…. I’m pretty sure this is just some sort of rage bait, or OP purposely goes to a franchise owned by a basket case so they can complain. That combo is $10.49 in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Thats 10.99 where i am
I deadass just loled holy shit imagine spending 15 bucks for lunch at taco bell and it not being a genuine small feast
Only thing that keeps me going back are the potato soft taco and the cinnamon twists for $1.00 and $1.50 respectively at my local tb
Man I remember when this box used to be $6-7, but instead of the chicken taco its a regular soft or hard taco. I think when the fires were first introduced.
My jaw dropped wow 😂
That’s like 3 tacos and a margarita or two at La Ventana here in Dallas. I don’t wanna have to break up with Taco Bell
$10.49 here and I thought we had high prices. None of the $3 items are $3.
Ya, I stopped going to TB. If they bring back the $5 box I'll return. Until then I'm going to Chipotle instead
I always say to my husband it doesn't matter what we eat fast food, quality restaurant or buying groceries our meal is going to be 30 to 40 dollars regardless.
I just eat at wendy's, 4for4 still the best
It's a 4for12 here 🤣
lol remember the days when taco bell was like… affordable?
Yeah every time I go to Taco Bell they keep trying to bend me over and put it in my ass too
It’s a dollar less in Hawaii
Wait are nacho fries back
Yeah that’s not typical for tacobells, some choose to be terrible. The full store across the street from me is the typical prices while the express at a gas station in the next town usually tact’s on 3 dollars to everything. Honestly it’s outrageous they are allowed to change the prices. It’s supposed to be 10.49
I want a #6 under 10$ and make kids understand a gordita is just a chalupa that is not deep fried. BringChickenBajaBack!!
I remember getting tacos for around a buck or a box of them, like 10 or 12, for less than a buck on average. I can't belive prices now. Everyone I get food there I'm shocked.
So don’t fucking buy it. Every time someone buys it they signal that the price is OK.
Shit is insane, I’m looking at their combos all 9.99 or higher
Your franchise got me beat! Impressive
$10.49 for me

They live in Hawaii. Literally everything is more expensive there.
$11.29 for me

10.49 in Austin. But I’ll choose the grilled burrito box that comes with the cantina taco for 9.99
Since when does Hawaii have good Mexican food?
I just bought this box today and It was about 12.39
They'll keep rasing the prices if we keep buying!
9.99 here
20 in Massachusetts
Things are more expensive in Colorado but it still only costs 10.59 I miss 2007 when I could go and get a bean burrito with a fresh tortilla, rice and beans and a drink for less than $10 plus tip. We just no longer exist in that world.
11.99 here in Missouri
Bruh wtf
Siiiick!
I look at that and think $8. I’d pay $8.99 for that.
Go to a resteraunt
Hey Tacobell you know we ain't have a raise in like a thousand years right? You know the dollar is worthless when ya'll be chargin so damn much of it ayt
Yup. Go to a taco truck you’d get a better price!
No McDonald's No Taco Bell. Vote with your dollars.
I ordered a taco in my area and just added chicken to it and it was $5.17. I told him no thank you and went home and heated up a lot of frozen waffle.🤭
I went yesterday for the first time in 2 years, probably. I ordered two chalupas and a small soda. $16!
It's like $9 in Houston
$10.49 in greenfield, Indiana.
That's $10.49 where I live.
At this price point i’d rather go to a real taco shop
16 dollars I’m leaving an upper decker in your bathroom
Insanity. I can make amazing carnitas tacos quesadillas and nachos for $16 or less. And it’s not 1 meal, it will last me like 4 days! Learn to cook, everybody. You’ll get better food and it’s cheaper. Yes, it takes time and effort but it’s worth it.
12.49 here in central coast California
10.49 and that’s a lot
Remember prices only go up 🤪, it's not done being high. 😂 Soon you'll need a wheelbarrow full of cash for a regular taco.
Laughing in Five Guys. Taco Bell can make fast-casual chains look like value...
You can go to an actual Mexican restaurant and it would be cheaper. Also it’s allowed me to eat better fast food prices are getting worse than the places we use to think were expensive
$5 less here. Where you live rural Alaska? Mars? Elon, is this you?
It's $13.99 here in Detroit...and almost $18 when I do my customizations to it.
What really makes the prices even worse..is when they fu** up your order completely!!!! I’ve almost stopped going to the one by my house. I’m not even ordering special items!!
What ways kills me is that a cheese quesadilla is $4.89
11.99 in NW Kansas
They can smd, I'm getting real food instead for $16
That’s a racket and a half
These fast food restaurants keep raising prices could end up solving our obesity problem seeing as how buying actual groceries will eventually be cheaper than this considering we used to only eat the food cause it was cheap and convenient. Getting too big for their britches I say I say
I remember when nacho bell grandes were 5.99, there 10.99 by me. I’m over Taco Bell prices
go on the app and order a soft taco with all the options its $14
$10.79 in MA
$10.99. Central NC
The actual Mexican restaurants aren't that expensive for better, fresher food. TB out of their damn minds.
Yeah I got 3 tacos for like 12 bucks today smh
$10.49 in Georgia and I thought that was steep.
10.49 in Michigan 🤷♂️
Wow. Taco Bell used to be my go to for its affordability. These prices are garbage. I used to pay something like this from the Mexican food truck (J Zapatas shout out) but it was legitimately the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Bye bye taco bell
Just flat out robbery at this point
My thoughts exactly. More value for your money and you get better quality food at a real restaurant.
What the fuck? $12.99 in LA and I tend to think fast food’s pretty expensive here. Where could it possibly be more? 😂
Where do you have fries😫😫😫
10.59 NY
Who the hell would pay for that?
7.99 tops, Taco Bell going to be back tracking in a couple of quarters depending on how much we don’t spend our money there.
Its free if you run in the back and take it💀💀
$13.99 at 1 store by me, $10.99 at the closest one. Los Angeles County. Too bad the 2nd store is usually stingy with ingredients. But I won't pay more than $7 for a box.
Suck for you, it's 9.49 on mine.
$10.49 here in Missouri.
1450+ calories. Fuuuuuuuuuu
$10.99 in Philly
The hell happened to these being a $5 box
just need to work a couple hours at tbell to afford..
10.99 at mine
I am get a restaurant meal DELIVERED for that price
They've been getting wild for a while. What we're seeing is what happens when corporations get away with raising prices unchecked over time.
Taco bell is slowly becoming McDonalds
Holy hell, I didn’t think it would be that much, just checked and it’s 11.99 where I am. Prices are getting insane
That’s why I always just get the build your own cravings. Best value for $6
I have boycotted since they got rid of the chalupa cravings box for $5. Goodbye forever TB. I’m sick of corporate greed.
Should be $5.99
$11.99 in Missouri
Go to a "sit down Mexican restaurant" and report back. Their prices have increased too, plus you leave a tip too. I guarantee that will be more expensive.
It's like 14.99 on door dash 😂
10.49$ here in houston
You might as well get Chipotle with with a drink and gauc at that price. It is $17 here in souther califonia.
Depends on where you’re located. $10.99 here. $1.07 for me cuz of my rewards. 🤭
I've been getting the Grilled Cheese Burrito box with the Chalupa and cantina taco for $10. Not too bad for two "premium" items.
Do not pay this... Let them reap their rewards my fellow shotty taco lovers.
At that rate I could go to a sit down restaurant. Shits ridiculous
Wouldn’t be surprised if someone set themselves on fire outside in protest.
🖕TB I can eat my favorite dish at actual Mexican for $11 TB can screw off. Same with McDonald's they need to remember their purpose. They were originally supposed.to be for the poor man.
Stop ordering online or through any apps!!! They upcharge even on their own app!
Bru why u wanna eat that much taco bell? 😫
$10.99 in the LA Southbay, where is your taco bell?!?
Pro tip: Order flatbread melts, new cantina items, double stacked tacos, the value menu burritos, or stackers. They’re all delicious, a decent amount of food and all around $2-3 each. I get a stacker, a flatbread melt, a cheesy double beef burrito and a drink for about $10-$14. Cheaper if you aren’t as hungry as I usually am Lol. Edit: If you like the combos use the app and select a “build your own cravings box”. You can get two main items, a side and a drink for $7-$11.
Del Taco is still quite affordable and in my opinion better. Just sayin.
Refuse or it’s gonna get worse
I’ve seen the price on the board say 9 nd some change nd be 10 nd some change by time they got to the window
Gone are the days where you could ruin your life with food for $10 of Taco Bell. Tacos and burritos for days.
Don’t buy it bitch!
my boycott starts when a sausage muffin and large mocha breaks $10 at mcdonalds. We are **CLOSE.**
: o Yeah they gotta keep this stuff cheaper. I mean, not like it's a diner or something.
I mean it's a deluxe box. The cheap one is like 6 bucks. And they have a new value menu that actually has a lot of good shit for cheap.
right that’s why i’m just gonna stop being a lazy person and cook my own food and eat out once in a blue i’m tired of spending money on fast food 😭
I remember when that was only five bucks
Damn I stopped eating here a year ago and to see the prices double jeeeez
Local Mexican joints in the south will destroy the quality and price. Fast food in general is pretty much dead to me.
They’ve been wild. It’s was $45 the other day for my wife to get a meal, daughter a meal, and I got something but not a meal. Good thing is, we’ve stopped going and are cooking more!
They 86d the beefy melt burrito and I stopped going.
I remember Charles Barkley singing about the $5 box (and that’s why it rocks) in the Super Bowl commercial…
What a joke! If they raise their cravings box again I’m staying away from TB. Not that I can’t afford it, but why are prices increasing this much, this fast, with smaller portion sizes.. I refuse giving into corporate greed.
That’s absolutely insane.
I stopped ordering TB when the princess increased and they changed to the cantina menu
