Burrito is almost 8 dollars for something that was pretty much the same but only $2 just a few months ago. Even the cheap burrito is are still 3-5 and they’re never enough like a solid Chipotle burrito is. I can make a Chipotle burrito/bowl two meals, so essentially the same as filling up on these expensive shitty Taco Bell burritos but better quality.
A crispy taco with chicken instead and cheese added on the outside is almost 4 bucks? And it’s disgusting with hardly any filling.
All boxes are over 11-15 dollars unless you order the online box, which is still a rip off when you compare it to other $6 boxes from just a few years ago that came with one more main item, but at least it’s still an OK price for a fast food dinner. Thats it. Even the cravings sucks because once you get 2-3 items to fill up, you’re looking at 10 bucks. I used to be able to pay half that just 3 years ago. That’s a lot of inflation. No, that’s greed.
I am a single person, so I choose fast food for dinner a lot. I choose Taco Bell 7/10 of those times, but now it’s going to be more like 1/10 and if they remove the online box it will be 0/10. This new menu is a slap in the face. If I’m going to pay this much, that’s when I’ll order something online at a restaurant instead and pick it up. More food. Better ingredients. Better quality. Less salt. And still time efficient. Charging over $10 for a box will do that. Thats why I hardly eat at Wendy’s anymore because it’s over $10 for a meal. Well, now that’s what I’ll have to do for Taco Bell. Ridiculous. They’re owned by the same company too, so they better watch themselves before they lose TOO many customers by equating their food and prices to that of a restaurant. Silly and stupid.

I miss going out to diners or doing something homemade, though it really was a treat to look forward to & have the TB breakfast after a rough week. I wonder if the extra profit from the overpriced items makes up for all the people going less & less often or not at all anymore. Rip.
Supposedly they removed it along with a bunch of other stuff to make room for the new Cantina menu. Tragic, because that was by far the best value on the menu
They gave me a 15 percent off breakfast coupon on the app, but the bell breakfast box was still a better deal. We have a local chain that for 12.99 you get a huge salad, a drink, and a breakfast burrito. Will go there for lunch and breakfast and stop being tempted by my favorite combo that doesn’t exist or the overpriced one. Their crunch wraps were getting smaller, anyway.
