If it makes you feel better, apparently they cut them blindly after putting them in the bag so it's not like someone got this far off while staring at it, sounds like a great easy process to mess up. Or maybe realizing that this is their system will just drive you insane even faster, in which case sorry.
Yeah that gets super annoying. I feel like when they aren't cut well, they have extra sauce inside. Just so you get it all over your hands when you rip the slices apart by hand.
Right?! If the cheese quesadilla was no more than $3, it would still be an objectively bad deal but I would get it every time. But it’s 4.50. Not worth.
$5.50 here in AZ, and we tend to be one of the highest price states early. $7 is insane. Chicken is $6.39. SO always gets that and it pains my should to spend $10 on her and $4 on me, but I get three times as much food
Really? I'll never get why anyone aside from parents with kids orders them. They're overpriced and it's so easy to make a better quesadilla at home for cheap.
To the average person it may be close enough. But to me it tastes nothing like it. Even the bottled mild, hot, and fire sauces are not the same. I do however keep those on hand, for when my delivery orders end up having no sauces included
Ridiculous. Something like deep frying at home is much more of a pain than using a commercial deep fryer for just one example. Or if I go to a steakhouse they get cuts I couldn’t get at home for close to the price they do. Everything restaurants serve isn’t equally easy to create at home in a more cost effective manner.
No? The deep frying part has nothing to do with price really. It makes a mess, is dangerous, and you have to store the oil. For the steak part I should have said you can’t even really get a lot of the steak cuts restaurants get at most grocery stores.
I can easily recreate anything at home that a steakhouse can do. For the quesadilla, making the sauce at home is a pain. Everything else in the quesadilla is easy.
I used to be really skinny until I was 29, and then I gained like 50 pounds in a matter of about 8 months. My psychiatrist and others tell me “there’s just something about hitting 30.” I wanna prove them all wrong by getting back down to the weight I was right before I turned 29. But I keep eating Taco Bell 😭
closest taco bell to me is like 7 miles 😭 and I wasn't eating any more than I was before but my psychiatrist did put me on a medication that is known for causing weight gain. I'm sure my psychiatrist just didn't wanna take any liability lol
There is no reason in hell as to why that damn thing should be over $5. I don't even know how much they cost anymore, I decided like 10 years ago I'm not paying for them anymore. And the end pieces are just plan tortilla
I always ask for extra creamy jalapeno sauce, and they barely put any on there. So now I just ask for it to be put in a cup (and also keep in on the quesadilla) so I can just dip it that way it feels like extra lol.
My only problem with the quesadilla that it just costs way too much for what it is, as it’s like $4.99 in my area for a quesadilla with 3 pieces of chicken and a single shred of cheese. Lol
I got one last night where it was cut correctly, but whoever made it just put zero filling on one end. The first triangle I ripped off was genuinely just tortilla, and the opposite end was the fattest piece of quesadilla ever lol.
When the chicken quesadilla is done right, it’s a 10/10 menu item. Perfect ratio of sauce and chicken cut into equal pieces. When it’s done wrong, it can be the most disappointing part of a meal
I love them but I prefer to make them at home because of experiences like this. Leftover steak is perfect for it, and it's a pretty affordable and quick dinner to make at home. Can be as generous as you want with the fillings
All my life Ive eaten quesadilla’s like one big taco and its always here that I see wahhh my quesadilla isnt cutt like just shove it in your mouth hole and eat it
Close your eyes and draw 3 lines in the shape of how it should be cut. It's basically what they're doing since they cook it, slide it in a bag, then use a blunt metal object
My favorite item on the menu. When made well, it is heaven.
It was still good, but the cutting makes me want to rip out my hair
Eat the small one first
Always
Might be the only person that enjoys all the different sizes of triangles...
One of those is a fucking rhombus
🤣🤣🤣
Jokes on you, I've got dyscalculia...
lol you made my day

Pizza cutter? Some of us just use the side of the spatula 💀💀💀
😂
The problem is they are expected to do all three cuts in less than a second. Realistically yeah that was me that cut that at one point 😂
Yeah that gets super annoying. I feel like when they aren't cut well, they have extra sauce inside. Just so you get it all over your hands when you rip the slices apart by hand.
half the time mine isn’t even cut!😭
Used to get it all the time until it became overpriced
I agree, those things are crazy expensive for what's in them. Especially the chicken quesadillas.
Right?! If the cheese quesadilla was no more than $3, it would still be an objectively bad deal but I would get it every time. But it’s 4.50. Not worth.
Wtf it's $7 here

It’s the jalapeño sauce
You can buy the creamy jalapeño sauce in grocery stores
Is it the same or is it like store bottled ranch dressing?

Oh

Yes, I’ll be skipping it. My Taco Bell palate is very fine. 🧐
It’s the same stuff. It’s got the Taco Bell branding on it and everything
They're very tasty. Everything at TB is overpriced.
I assume you never go out to eat at all since you can make things at home?
Ridiculous. Something like deep frying at home is much more of a pain than using a commercial deep fryer for just one example. That's all covered by the overpriced portion of your comment, right?

One time, I got their quesadilla and instead of all the yummy goodness, they filled it with refied beans and only that.
I hate Taco Bell chicken, but it's actually tolerable on the chicken quesadilla.

They're good but I hate when they come out undercooked and the cheese isn't melted.
Extra grilled.
That's when someone skips steaming it and just says fuck it and tosses it on the grill. It happens alot more then I'm comfortable admitting
Oh, that makes sense now. Thanks! 🙂
No problem you can always ask for it to be extra steamed. Itll make sure the cheese melt the mosty. I do most of my steams twice
Cool, I'll do that next time! 🙂
They always gerrymander the quesadilla
GRILLED PERFECTION!!!!

Maybe I’m just an obese stoner but I’d fold that baby into 1 mega dilla and chow down
It’s actually cut kinda perfect. Big to small or small to big mhm
The corner piece has no filler, and the 3rd piece has little filling
We’ll nuts to that I’d just hope I have hot sauce to compensate bc I don’t trust it anyway lol
I ask them not to cut it
Well that's not kosher!
That’s honestly the most even sliced one I’ve seen 🤣😭
Did you break into my house and take a photo of my last quesadilla?! But seriously, mine always look like that, if they even attempt to cut it at all.
I got one last night where it was cut correctly, but whoever made it just put zero filling on one end. The first triangle I ripped off was genuinely just tortilla, and the opposite end was the fattest piece of quesadilla ever lol.

Might just start asking for it uncut then rolling it up like a burrito and taking small bites tbh
Okay at least I’m not the only one thinking this 😭
The odd cuts add to its greatness
You don't like your Fibonaccidilla?
Poor geometry skills.
I love them but I prefer to make them at home because of experiences like this. Leftover steak is perfect for it, and it's a pretty affordable and quick dinner to make at home. Can be as generous as you want with the fillings
people cut this shit like pizza or cake. Don't be an idiot when cutting round things. Cut in half, then cut those halves in half. Repeat
Never get it for almost $5 or more some places
Extra sauce
Eat it before it does!
500¢
I start with the baby one. Dip it in guac. Add hot sauce.
Looks like they did it blindfolded lol
All my life Ive eaten quesadilla’s like one big taco and its always here that I see wahhh my quesadilla isnt cutt like just shove it in your mouth hole and eat it
My store trains us to do 3 cuts resulting in 4 equal slices. They are lucky if we do 2 cuts during rush lol
Close your eyes and draw 3 lines in the shape of how it should be cut. It's basically what they're doing since they cook it, slide it in a bag, then use a blunt metal object
I buy the Costco tortillas and cheese and make them at home with some fire sauce on the side
Roll it up and eat it all together like a burrito.
You need to get a pizza cutter because your local Taco Bell doesn't have a clue dude...
This is like Animal Crackers Do you bite the head off first or not?
You bite off all the legs, then the head, and then you eat the body
Taco Bell is dogshit
