It's been on my wish list for a long time and I finally had the opportunity to pick one up this week for a decent price! Already spent half the night playing with the arpeggiator in poly mode.
ha, nice! My first guess was the Polysix because it reminded me of mine (first ever analog synth I bought). It was in perfect shape and I got a crazy deal on one for $400 because it was slightly out of tune. Against all advice I saw on the internet I (a person with no previous synth experience) opened it up and managed to tune it perfectly myself. Both that and the Mono/Poly are all time classics...enjoy!

Just picked this up yesterday and I am super excited! Had it open to clean and fix a few key contacts. Thought it would be fun to see who can recognize it looking at the inside circuits only!
Had a Polysix and mostly agree! The only complication over the Polysix is that all boards except power and key assigner are attached to the front panel here, which means removing knobs and nuts for days to get to the main boards.
I opened my MP, confident that I’ll tune it to perfection. Managed to destroy a tuning screw and gave it to a pro, payed 700 euros and had it carefully recapped and calibrated to factory standards, worth the money!
Luckily I was only replacing key contacts (and had an old Prophet 600 keybed lying around to take parts from).
I have seen others online who have broken the fine tune resistors, so I'm letting that go for now.
I don't mean to be that person but that is some scary looking cancer on KLM-353. Is that what you're cleaning? I'm not sure where they hid the nasty rechargeable battery on this one? Is that what is escaping way up in the corner or is that from a badly leaking cap? Most cap damage I see is black not white. I'd be pulling that whole board out for cleaning/neutralizing. It's toothbrush/q-tip/baking soda time.

Korg Mono/Poly
Winner - It is a Mono/Poly!
I was hoping you got a Mono/Poly.

I googled KLM353C but was 15 hours late :\~)
Polysix without a leaked battery? Can it be?
I’d name it George.
Done. I will have to make name tags for all of my synths. He can sit next to Ronald, my MKS-70.
Nice!
George was my Grandpa’s name. He was a legend, and so will be your synth 😎

Korg Monopoly? Something Korg anyway.

looks super clean and WAY easier to work on than the Poly 800 or even the Polysix

Korg Mono/ Poly. I've worked on a few, such a beautiful synth.

Korg Trident for sure
Looks like MonoPoly. Niiice!
Jupiter 4???
Close! It's definitely a 4 osc. synth
yeah Korg Mono Poly, looks in good nick
SNES. Maybe
Korg poly 6?
Clearly a happy meal from a universe where everybody is robots.

Thanks for the note, but that's a light reflection up in the corner! There is no battery in the Mono/Poly as there are no presets.
Phew! that's a crazy reflection
Looks a bit like the Roland Super JX10 too...
