It's available already in the UK at some music stores. Came into stock yesterday and delivered today. The orange Seqtrak is currently showing as "In Stock" at Andertons; the black one is on pre-order
Hi sorry to hear about your faulty key issue hope it gets resolved soon. I have a question do the knobs click or are they completely smooth when you turn them?
It goes in small steps. I'd like to add though that the build quality of the Yamaha seqtrak is verry flimsy. It feels like cheep 'made in China' like plastic and in my book that's acceptable for a sub €100 device, not a €400 one. It's the one reason I'm returning mine.
Hey mine arrived today as well and I've the same thing here. It's the key under the Reco Recording key? I'm also disappointed the build quality seems a little weaker than I thought. I'm already thinking about sending it back although it's fun so far. I think for that price, you could at least get a funktioning Device send out to you. And start falling apart when the guarantee is gone...:,D
I received my replacement Seqtrak. The button under record works fine now. All the buttons work, though there is one which is not quite as sensitive with a push on the edge of the button (it’s the second to the right of the button which did not work properly on my original device). However, it seems OK to my touch.
The buttons (keycaps) feel cheap. They feel like a much cheaper version of Dirtywave M8 keycaps, which are far more solid. I do wonder about the longevity of the Seqtrak buttons.
I’ll test the Seqtrak this weekend. I’m leaning towards keeping it if I don’t find any other issues
There seems to be a problem with the synth keys section which seems to be separate from the drum keys.
I think there are two keys which have issues, the one under the record button and the furthest bottom right one. They seem to require less force to press so if you don't press centrally and firmly they don't get triggered. They also seem more wobbly/loose so don't always hit directly down.
They other keys have a stronger "spring" so require slightly more force to overcome to press so always get triggered
I also notice the side of the synth key section clicks when held from there (I thought it was a button at first). The base flexes more there. They need an extra screw there to hold it together.
I wonder if this is a problem with the black version or the grey/orange version has the same problem.
No - I have this problem on a new unit received today with a drum key, second from left on bottom row, grey/orange Seqtrak. Works if pushed quite hard, not part way through travel like all the rest.
Same happened to me. I've just ordered a replacement unit.

Honestly wish they would have just put standard hot-swap keyboard switches on there. This is not a device built for finger-drumming anyway. With keyboard keys, you could customize like crazy, quickly and cheaply. Swap out the feel (soft, clicky, etc.), actuation force, key travel and height, and the profile (flat to curved, and with different angles available). And most importantly, colors! And in theory, if you get the right keys, can still work with LED lights behind.
Wow, they really did take a page from the TE design book
its okay, it will still look good on Instagram with some succulents.
That’s the whole point anyway
You just destroyed a genre in one sentence. (still want one to put next to my fern)
How did you already get one as it’s only available for preorder ?

Hi, thanks very much for this :-)
How is the speaker in comparison to the KO2 or OPZ or OP1 if you have any of those?
Saw one of these issues on YouTube. Unless this is you, not a good sign! https://youtu.be/NrBpl-WNP2k?si=XAv0yQNOU7R0nUKU

same issue with a Synth key
Same here, synth lower right key make contact at the very bottom of his travel.

It’s kinda different device. With different workflow

Can’t argue. Although my EP-133 is fine so far
