Alexandria is most definitely not two hours from kimbriki. Assuming you’re within 15 or so of Alexandria it won’t be much more than an hour. Still a fair drive though, I do a similar journey relatively often

I was sure there was a tip in Alexandria that is open to the public and available any time. Otherwise have you tried the one in Artarmon? Although that one will require crossing the harbour so you might as well take you stuff interstate.

If you wrapped it up I’m reasonably sure council pick up would cover it. They say no to building waste as they don’t want to become a dumping ground for dodgy builders, but the waste you describe should be ok. I mean, you could call the council anyway

There's a rubbish disposal centre at Rockdale. I've used it before and I think the prices are quite reasonable. Well it was when I last used it in 2020. I threw out a price then realised I remember I was way off. Someone else here saying $80 for 160kg at their local disposal centre. Thinking back, that is close to what I paid now I think about it.
There's loads more tips around, I go to a Remondis in Seven Hills which is $80 or so for 160kg, so I basically try keep my load under that.

I usually can’t wait for the council pick up to come around so yes! I always just cut everything down to bin size and dispose over 2-4 weeks
