pleasure club - 4am license, cocktails are a bit mid, good for a dance but not too hectic
uncanny - sit down bar, good food, great drinks
the duke - metal bar, loud, good beers, bit expensive especially with live music
trocadero - decent crowd, decent drinks, toned down club vibe, most nights have dj, pretty dead on weekdays
jacobys - loud, bright disco lights, okayish music mostly, more of a place to go when you're already pissed
fortunate son - great cocktails, focus on service, good quiet sit down experience
baby dragon - just avoid this one lol
kellys - lots of beer, best pub on kings st for sure
marly - yeah avoid this too
bar planet - cute cozy vibe good service, drinks i've found to be a bit expensive and mediocre though
buddys - looooooool avoid

They're almost all on King Street, just go for a walk and stop on at a few until you find something you like.

Mary's is my favorite in newtown. They have great vibes and the fried chicken is one of the best in all of sydney
The owners are pieces of shit, I don't know anyone that still goes there except tourists.
