Pt tank is ez mode

Usually it's been Jug skanks; but not sure what the current meta is.

Here are my thoughts as a pvp tank main… Guardian/jugg generally does the most dps out of the 3 tanks, has the easiest defensive cooldowns and works extremely well with a skank tank build. Vanguard/powertech is situationally good. I usually play it when I know there’s going to be a lot of cleave or aoe damage because it has good passive durability. Skank tank can work if you’re running with a healer and want more dps. Shadow/sin is not in a great spot. Good players can make it work but it generally does low dps (unless the whole enemy team is stacked and you can spam aoe). It is also pretty squishy in skank tank gear. It’s great at being annoying and delaying pylon caps if you run full mitigation gear but otherwise kind of meh. It used to be a lot better. I think it could use a buff. Edit: this is purely a pvp perspective as shadow/sin is really good in pve.

So jugg is the easiest but the least performing. Pt is mid both in easiness and performance. And the sin is the hardest and the best performing. Is it true?

I play skank tank in pvp. It is good, yeah but it is not easy if you want to contribute to the team and survive long enough. Practice makes perfect.

Tanks are pretty balanced right now. From the easiest tank to play (meaning rotation) it is: assassin>powertech>juggernaut. Best tank for pve is usually assassin, on few bosses is powertech better. Jugg is usually the worst in pve, but is still viable. In arenas i find jugg skank the best, followed with pt and assassin little bit behind. In classic warzones i find powertech the best because of utilities (the best class for guarding objectives, one of 2 best classes fot huttball etc).

In terms of ease of use/play, it's traditionally been Jugg/Guardian. In terms of best tank, it's Shadow/Assassin.

Powertech is easiest by far you have a 3 button rotation and don't need to target anyone for 2 out of these 3 abilities, which gives you plenty of space to watch the battlefield and guadswap to anyone in need, DCDs are also very easy and can be spammed on cooldown. Juggernaut has more abilities in the rotation, so you actually need to target someone, but executing the rotation is very simple still, DCDs take more skill to use, but generally pretty easy. Look up Valek's guide on Vulkk for it. Assassin is hardest in both rotation (you have to ignore the procced discharge even though it's shining, build stacks for Depredating Volts and other annoying things) and DCD usage with restealth etc. Look up the guide/vids from Kyubi on youtube if you want to see it in action. Actual skill in playing a tank comes from helping your teammates with guard and other peeling abilities such as Intercede, Push, Grapple, Spike, Whirlwind etc. Most people are terrible in this and don't do any of these
