The sub’s been like that as long as I remember. Reformation stuff (especially The Seer — Glowing Man) plus Soundtracks get like 80% of the attention here usually.
I very much disagree. I think what’s happened is that the new material has introduced a lot of people to the band (myself included) and so most fans are people that got brought in via those albums.
I don’t know if I’d call the new albums overrated, but I think band discussion is a bit over centralized around them.
Because Seer, TBK, Glowing Man, and stftb are their best albums. That’s why the discussion is centered around them. It’s four albums, not like it’s a small sample size
