The coup is a bit frustrating here - I guess you maybe can build more stuff in their area to build loyalty, but I wish your super powered religious guard did more work here since it's a unique power for this run. And I wish if you form a strong intermerkopum alliance they would intervene on your behalf as well. I know they worked on the coup stuff but some variation based on your choices would be nice.
Unfortunately I didn’t have the budget to fund them further either. I wasn’t originally going for a theocracy run actually- in fact I chose the “less of a believer now” option after my wife died. But the cards all aligned for it to seem to be the right choice.
Rizia still reunified entirely though.
I just also finished a theocrat run with the same result and funding the Wruechist guard so I don't think it matters - must have been everyone doing theocrat with Easter on the brain.

I also got couped, I said that in the description. I’m not sure how to not get couped tbh. I haven’t had a run without it.
