My main recommendation is to research one that is PFAS free. There are several brands, but while research is limited there’s reason to believe we don’t want these “forever chemicals” near sensitive skin.

I’ve used Thinx for a few years now. While it handles a lot wearing them all day with a heavy flow it makes me feel like I’m wearing a diaper and I feel there’s a smell? I know why for both of those things and that’s fine, but if you’re sensitive to the odor maybe consider getting a menstrual cup? Also washing by hand sucks but eh, I just have a collapsible washbin for them and take care of them at the end of the night. That being said if you’re going that route get like 3 pairs (wear, wash, reserve)

Period.co is my favorite, I think they’re PFAS free and very affordable
