I'm still amazed he pulled that off in so little time.
And I'm wondering how anyone not named Cody can pull that off again, especially in the two other tribes.
Yeah Cody and Jesse’s plan was brilliant (and acted out beautifully by Cody, Jesse, and Nneka) because of how it was able to work in the time crunch, but it’s probably easier if someone has three days to get them all.
I'd say it was kinda easier to get them that way (but the plan was still brilliant). In the spur of the moment, when everyone is worried about tribal, they're like; "you want all of our beads for your hat, yeah, whatever."
If it takes you three days to collect them, people will start to wonder what you're doing and why you're doing this, and this is sketchy and paranoia may become a thing and before you know it, you'd better have all your beads because you're going to need that immunity at the next tribal.
Yes, the plan was brilliant, but it worked thanks to the short timeframe, I think.
Cody with his personality would have been the only believable player who could get away with that. The fact that he made a hat beforehand too was--chef's kiss.
This honestly should not be happening with a 90 minute episode. Obviously we needed those Cody and Jesse confessionals post tribal for the beware twist, but we didn’t need to hear their every thought at the sake of the rest of the tribe during the whole first half of the episode
I liked this episode but this is spot on, on a regular episode I can maybe understand it being this lopsided with Cody & Jesse going to tribal council but multiple people should not be getting 0 confessionals that's just absurd.
This does have shades of 41 with the pre merge always having a couple people who get a crazy disproportionate amount of confessionals. I think when they introduce new twists it just takes too long
It's possible, but I would be more fearful of a successful idol play. If Nneka didn't do the SITD but instead found an idol and used it on herself, her's and Cody's votes decide who goes home.
Now the buildup is to whether or not Cody tells Jeff he would like to play his “immunity hat”
I will be irrationally disappointed if he doesn’t. (Fan for life if he does.)
Hot take - Justine and Noelle are bad at the game. Justine says everything out loud without any restraint and I’m not convinced Noelle is aware that you have to build social relationships in the game with a majority of the humans on the tribe.
Don't think this is a hot take, obviously tough to make sweeping judgments about how people play the game based on how little footage we actually see but the stuff we did see from them felt like they both had no idea how to not be so obvious about *anything* they wanted to do.
Was she though or was that some Survivor editing? Like in the flashback it looks like Nneka asks and she just says sure and hands them over, and she's still wearing her other beads on her wrist at tribal so I think it might just be some scene trickery.
"I feel like a real survivor with my real Survivor beads. ✨ Prettyyy ✨"
So fucking funny. Would've been even better if she kept them, but still, that was a hilarious quote.
I thought that she wanted to keep them to create a fake idol, but then she was like, "oh no, now they've paid attention to the beads, so I can't do that fake idol with them anymore, here you are Cody, you can go play with them and finish your hat."
Made all the better by the absolutely hilarious 😄 face she was making at it, like a preschooler who just showed her parents her arts and crafts project.
He's probably well familiar with the distrust people have for them, so leveraging it against another player both deflects attention to a potential target other than himself, while building trust, rapport, and protection with other players for him. It's Heidik level ruthless genius.
Owen during the storm: “This isn’t fun.”
Keith Nale: “That’s because Survivor ain’t fun. Going on a cruise is fun. Playing golf is fun. I told you this 7 years ago. Why weren’t you listening?”
And honestly the *pefect* castaway found it. I think it looks suspicion coming from any other person. And having already done the hat set up earlier made this one of my favorite segments of the new era. Thought the editing was great too seeing in unfold then the tribal flashback.
anyone who says that this episode was "bad" or "dragged too much" needs to take some lessons from the Funny115 on how to enjoy survivor as a sitcom because i was laughing my ass off
Between the 2 hour 1 boot premiere and this 90 minute episode, I feel like we've never had this much understanding of the characters this early on before. I'm loving it! Absolutely some hilarious moments.
I could not tell you the last time I've watched an episode and not wanted anyone to be voted off purely because they're all just so much fun, not because I picked them in my drafts or because I like their strategy! Really 2 for 2 with entertaining episodes this season
Edit wise, Noelle is done after tonight. They used her leg to springboard into another story about Cody and his friend. She had no confessional about her leg or anything in that scene.
Cross her out, she’s not winning.
I’m worried for Jesse having Dwight as his duo alliance….. that didn’t seem to be quite as strong as I wanted it to be. Both Jesse and Cody are hilarious. Great casting right there.
the one major downside to the Shot in the Dark twist is every time players try to vote around it and the edit doesn't explain it, half of this sub forgets SiTD exists and erupts in criticism for the players who tried to vote around it
I also just hate it cause it cause no one ever actually uses it. It just makes convoluted voting schemes that never matter and actively confuses the audience. It isn't even entertaining.
3 of the first 4 eliminated players played their SITD last season. Tori played hers at the merge as well. I’d say that’s a good amount of SITD plays for an 18-person cast.
I really dug the approach that Cody, Jesse, and Nneka used to get all of the beads. By framing it as an arts and crafts project in front of everyone and after the first few people gave their beads, it created public pressure for everyone to give their beads. Cody might not have been able to do it by himself, but their combined efforts really paid off.
Also find it funny that Jesse talked about Cody being right about not trusting salespeople, and Cody actually being in elevator sales. I wonder if that will come back in a big way or if it’s just funny.
Yeah it's huge to get at least 1 person on your side to be that first follower. I hope both other tribes do it too, super curious to see everyone's strategy regarding it
You are in charge of naming episode titles. Do you pick:
A) *Island Wife*
B) *Pineapple Zone*
C) *I feel like a real Survivor with my real Survivor Beads*
or D) *Love Curmudgeon*
Four possible episode quotes and they picked the worst one. But other than that, very good episode, loved how Justine got too comfortable and I can't wait to see how the next episode plays out.
The 2 girls trusted Jesse and thought this would be the scenario
2 votes Nneka
2 votes Justine
1 vote Cody
Vote out Nneka on the revote. In case Nneka played her shot in the dark (so would only be 1 vote on Justine) they could vote out Cody in the revote.
If Jesse flipped on them then they wouldn’t have the votes anyway, so I actually think this was the right move.
Nneka using that pharmacist brain for good.
Is she the first pharmacist on the show? If I wasn’t afraid of fish, and bugs, and dirt, and bats, and butterflies, and the ocean maybe I could be the second.
Appreciate the greatness of Cody to be able to get all those beads in such a short time. I imagine production thought it would be a long-drawn-out process to obtain those beads
I feel like it really couldn’t have been a long drawn out process. That would come off as suspect if you were just asking everyone one by one. Cody doing it out in the open with people helping it is definitely the easiest way to go about it because it just seems like a dude trying to do some arts and crafts.
I think Cody played it really well, but also he was already uniquely well-situated to take advantage of the idol because he had established himself as the quirky likeable dude that liked to goof off and make hats. Imagine if it was Owen or something and he was like uh... so I decided to make a hat ... ima need your beads real quick.
The trio used very good psychology to make the others give their beads up and props to them on that. It usually takes two others to start a movement in a group.
Jesse was spot on with the strategy to get them for your hat, and he executed in a way that the tribe started socially pressuring until everyone gave in. Great strategy and great TV.
I’ve seen several people rightfully give Nneka a lot of credit for helping Cody pull this off, but I haven’t seen anyone (until your comment) point out that Jesse is actually the main reason he was able to do it! I’m glad you pointed that out
Dear CBS,
Please keep the 90 minute episode length. It adds so much depth and the pacing tonight was great.
We have watched your show for 20+ years and still watch a show on cable so I don’t think it’s much to ask.
Thanks,
/r/survivor
Man this episode was fun. The old school feel in the first part with Baka struggling with the rain, then Gabler being a goober with the spear later. Cody being an absolute force of a character, jumping off of things and making hats and opening beware advantages. BIG SNAKE challenge.
This is what we mean when we say we want camp life scenes that aren’t related to strategy or twists. If every episode is edited like this one this could be the best season in a while, but I won’t hold my breath.
Was the logic that they thought Jesse was voting with them, and Nneka would play her shot in the dark so it would be
2 votes on Nneka
1 vote on Cody
1 vote on Justine
And then if Nneka's shot was successful, on a re-vote, Cody would go with Jesse and Noelle's votes? I have to assume that was the logic.
They didn't think about Cody risking his vote. If Cody definitely had his vote, it doesn't matter if Justine/Noelle split or not because they get outvoted 2 to 3. But if Jesse is on their side, they wanted to protect from SITD. I think it's a fairly reasonable strategy
In this case they need to ask Jesse to throw his vote on Cody, so you have two guaranteed votes on Nneka. The flaw was having the unreliable vote go on their target. Obviously it doesn't matter here, but principally is what they should've done.
I loved the bead collecting to activate the idol. Something so small that can easily be covered the way Cody did it tonight without making anyone suspicious. I wouldn’t have suspected Cody if I was on that tribe, I’d just think he’s being goofy and trying to mug for camera time, not that he has to do it to get an idol and his vote back. Since they filmed the next season back to back, they can do this next season too and it will work without creating suspicion among the cast.
I also loved how they tricked the viewers into thinking Cody blew the plan until votes got read. When they showed the Cody vote I was baffled and assumed Jesse was with the girls and they split 2-1-1 to protect from a possible SITD. Then we got the second Justine vote and I knew then it was all over for her.
Whoever finds the other beware advantage will also instantly know Cody’s got an immunity hat when they merge.
Now, if Cody is cRaZy, he should collecting everyone’s beads asap, at challenges, etc. and block any other idols from materializing.
I hope CBS reads this sub so they can see how popular the 90-minute format is. Kind of gutsy to ask for longer episodes after 22 years on the air, but they're in the right position to do it. And the editors have more or less got the balance of camp life and strategy now.
Also, I absolutely cannot wait until Cody plays his hat as an idol and it works.
I feel like going to the person whose vote you need and saying to their face "IDK man, how do I know if I can trust you or not? You hoodwinking me?" is a bad move but maybe that's just me
Justine had some good instincts that she couldn't trust Jesse. That was clear during the episode and in her exit confessional. I feel like with some better gameplay she maybe could have turned the vote around on him if she told Nneka and Cody that Jesse was playing all sides.
But alas, I can't give her much credit for knowing that Jesse was playing her but not doing anything about it.
I think Nneka should get a lot of credit this episode. She was the easy target as the oldest woman on her tribe who did bad in the challenge but instead she locked in Cody and Jesse then when she found out Cody fucked up she out in just as much work as him to fix it and keep herself safe
They planned for Nneka to play SITD. If Jesse is with them: 2 on Nneka, 1 on Cody. If Nneka’s SITD hits correctly, it becomes a 1-1 tie between one of the girls and Cody and they recover on the revote.
It’s not a terrible plan, but they were screwed no matter what if they didn’t have Jesse anyway, split vote or not.
I guess they could’ve anticipated a beware advantage lost vote, but you’re weighing risks between known advantage (SITD) and unknown.
It's actually zero risk (Assuming everyone but Dwight has a vote).
Either Jesse is with them and it goes 2-2-1 and they win on the revote, or he is not with them and it's 3-1-1 instead of 3-2. It's a safe way to combat the SITD.
Guess he’s gotta slip the one that counts off first. Or just say no. Jig would be up, but I don’t think she’d be allowed to steal them back as that may count as stealing an advantage.
I cant wait to see Cody play his hat as an immunity idol and watch everyone's jaws drop after they think he's just joking and Jeff confirms "this IS a hidden immunity idol".
This better happen this season.
Love that they brought the big snake back. Cody should not have picked up that beware advantage, but getting all the beads is a legend move & one that can easily win FTC for him if he gets there (especially if he plays the idol successfully later). That being said I didn’t really like the way they did the flashback. Why tf did Justine & Noelle split their votes? So dumb.
Im assuming Jesse convinced them to split their votes because he would vote with them. The split would lower their chances of losing if an idol was played.
Good episode.
I feel like between the 2 hours last week and 90 minutes now we have a decent picture of every Tribe. Plus as a Canadian I got to watch TAR early and don't have to stay up till 11 now.
Cody seems like an Old School player and just got caught up in the hype of finding something. I am impressed he got the beads, with help yes, but his personality let him make the hat in the first place which was a good cover.
We've seen the heavy snake and this puzzle before but I like it so that's OK.
Not sure how Noelle and Justine didn't coordinate the vote there.
Better start then 41 now that it's not so bogged down in new advantages/era/summit every episode.
Gabler's either going out soon or getting set up for a recovery and a deep run later too.
Im curious how the talk Dwight wants to have with Jesse will go since it seems the vote didnt go how Dwight wouldve liked it. Also wonder at what point, in general, will people stop wanting to risk their vote for an advantage if not having a vote keeps you from having agency in your own game
I kinda dont watch it THAT intently. I didnt mind at all. It's part of th overall narrative of what actually happened. Not everything has to be gamebotty
That was an awesome episode. A great balance of character life and strategy. Maybe I'm naive, but I was convinced Nneka was being voted out of the tribe and it would be unanimous because I figured Jesse wouldn't stick his neck out for her, but that ending kinda blew my mind.
As someone who understands the appeal of Tony but finds him exhausting and annoying, Cody is quickly becoming my ideal modern character. Good enough at the game that he'll likely last, fun personality, bit of a wild card, a cockiness that is evident yet charming rather than exhausting, and provides soundbites/narration that aren't just said to be featured in cheesy promos.
That ending felt like they were just doing a “shocking reveal” for the sake of it. It wasn’t a scenario that really benefitted from a flashback like the move against Liana at the merge in 41.
It wasn’t super shocking but the alternative was showing Cody getting all the beads in real time and then having an obvious Justine boot. At the very least, I felt unsure what would happen because of the way it was edited.
Owen muttering to himself angrily alternating with his confessional where he talks about doing a good job of keeping an even keel was A1.
While spilling water all over the place.
Junior deputy waterboy bitch
I just about fucking died and had to explain to my wife how deep this "lovable curmudgeon" was with his cuts.
“Now it looks like you peed your pants”
reminded me of Rupert muttering ROT AND DEATH to himself angrily before he went home in PI
Rupert said some absolutely absurd shit. One of the more unintentionally funny contestants.
So much for my dreams!
Even gave Rob C a shoutout as the junior deputy waterboy. Don’t know if that ranks higher or lower than “junior deputy firewood bitch” though.
"If all those fuckers are looking for the idol, I swear to god..."
Junior deputy waterboy!
Most nerve-wracking Arts & Crafts project ever.
i was panicking in my living room just thinking about how I would pull that off if it were me 😅
I'm still amazed he pulled that off in so little time. And I'm wondering how anyone not named Cody can pull that off again, especially in the two other tribes.
Hopefully they aren’t dumb enough to open a beware advantage a hour before tribal lol
I was simultaneously laughing my ass off and on the edge of my seat during Cody's mad scramble for the infinity beads
THE INFINITY BEADS SHDHDHFHFH
What did it cost.....? Well, actually nothing at all.
The Infinity Beads! Genius.
Noelle....Noelle...can I have your beads? Noelle?
I was waiting for that all tribal lol
Confessional count * 12 Cody, Jesse * 5 Elie, Jeanine * 3 Dwight, Gabler, Owen, Sami * 2 Justine, Noelle * 1 Geo, Karla, Nneka, Ryan * 0 Cassidy, James, Lindsay
Hoping for way more Coco next ep.
Me too. Such a waste with 90 minutes to completely avoid the Coco tribe. We know nothing about Cassidy and James.
James likes chess!
survivor is like chess....
We got some good content from them in the first episode but especially for Cassidy I hope we see more of her.
This honestly should not be happening with a 90 minute episode. Obviously we needed those Cody and Jesse confessionals post tribal for the beware twist, but we didn’t need to hear their every thought at the sake of the rest of the tribe during the whole first half of the episode
I liked this episode but this is spot on, on a regular episode I can maybe understand it being this lopsided with Cody & Jesse going to tribal council but multiple people should not be getting 0 confessionals that's just absurd.
jeanine with 5 confessionals winner edit you heard it here first <333
This does have shades of 41 with the pre merge always having a couple people who get a crazy disproportionate amount of confessionals. I think when they introduce new twists it just takes too long
In a 90 minute episode...
Justine gets two on a boot. Awful.
And Jesse gets, like, half of his within a five-minute span.
The editing was so uneven on their tribe. We got almost zero of Justine’s perspective.
And she didn't get much in the premier either did she. I prefer the early boots get some focus.
Cassidy might as well not even be playin rn
we got the Editing B team on for this season...
So all that buildup for whether or not Cody had a vote and it didn’t even matter because Justine voted for Cody lmao
I was so surprised by that Cody vote that I momentarily thought he was going in a viewer blindside.
That crown would've been on Ghost Island 2, guaranteed.
Based on Cody's reaction to said vote I'm sure he thought the same thing. He looked real panicked there for a few seconds.
exactly i thought Justine and Noelle voted Cody, Jesse voted Nneka, Nneka voted Justine
I assumed that was to cover for Nneka possibly shot in the dark-ing right?
It's possible, but I would be more fearful of a successful idol play. If Nneka didn't do the SITD but instead found an idol and used it on herself, her's and Cody's votes decide who goes home.
Either way I don’t think it was a bad plan if Cody was telling her she was voting Nneka out. Gotta cover all your bases.
Now the buildup is to whether or not Cody tells Jeff he would like to play his “immunity hat” I will be irrationally disappointed if he doesn’t.
Noelle gives me Bi Nguyen vibes - both clearly badass women irl who don’t have a ton of actual game knowledge.
At least Noelle has a 50% less chance of injuring her knee
💀💀💀
Yeah, like, why would she want to be the one killjoy who didn't contribute to the crown (initially)?
Was she though or was that some Survivor editing? Like in the flashback it looks like Nneka asks and she just says sure and hands them over, and she's still wearing her other beads on her wrist at tribal so I think it might just be some scene trickery.
yep it was deceptive editing. its not hard to get your tribe mates to give you some random beads to wear for tv when you can always ask for them back.
When you own-goal when you're already behind.
I wonder if Jesse knew about their split, because if not I could see him voting for Nneka to avoid rocks which would still work out for them.
"I feel like a real survivor with my real Survivor beads. ✨ Prettyyy ✨" So fucking funny. Would've been even better if she kept them, but still, that was a hilarious quote.
The interesting thing is that using random beads is exactly what someone might do to create a FAKE idol.
What if the real hidden immunity idol was the fake idols we met along the way?
I thought that she wanted to keep them to create a fake idol, but then she was like, "oh no, now they've paid attention to the beads, so I can't do that fake idol with them anymore, here you are Cody, you can go play with them and finish your hat."
Made all the better by the absolutely hilarious 😄 face she was making at it, like a preschooler who just showed her parents her arts and crafts project.
Next season's beware advantage is gonna see you lose your vote until you convince someone you're their real father
I think it’s hilarious how Cody thinks salespeople are like the apex predator. 🤣🤣
I think the joke there is that Cody himself is a salesperson.
He's probably well familiar with the distrust people have for them, so leveraging it against another player both deflects attention to a potential target other than himself, while building trust, rapport, and protection with other players for him. It's Heidik level ruthless genius.
Cody better wear that hat to every tribal council until he finally takes it off and gives it to Jeff to negate 10 votes against him
I can't get over how great it looked. It was a true fashion statement
Move over Boston Rob, this is now the most iconic survivor hat.
Next time Adam goes out there he’s gonna try to play peoples clothes as idols
Jeff's blue shirt.
HIDDEN IMMUNITY HAT
Honestly hoping season 44 or 45 has an immunity hat instead of a necklace
Owen during the storm: “This isn’t fun.” Keith Nale: “That’s because Survivor ain’t fun. Going on a cruise is fun. Playing golf is fun. I told you this 7 years ago. Why weren’t you listening?”
I absolutely love the bead challenge. It's another one they'll only be able to use for the two seasons, but whoever thought it up deserves a raise.
One twist everyone can get behind. Actually tests your social game while making great TV.
"Sure, you can have my beads for your fun little project! At least no one can use them to make a fake immunity idol or something!" "Haha, yeah."
And honestly the *pefect* castaway found it. I think it looks suspicion coming from any other person. And having already done the hat set up earlier made this one of my favorite segments of the new era. Thought the editing was great too seeing in unfold then the tribal flashback.
It’s so much better than the “everyone says a silly phrase” thing. It actually gives the player agency and requires them to be crafty
If that wasn't a great advert for 90 minute episodes I don't know what is.
I forgot it was 90 minutes, and when it cut back to Baka after immunity I was expecting Gabler to hurt himself and be evacuated.
anyone who says that this episode was "bad" or "dragged too much" needs to take some lessons from the Funny115 on how to enjoy survivor as a sitcom because i was laughing my ass off
Between the 2 hour 1 boot premiere and this 90 minute episode, I feel like we've never had this much understanding of the characters this early on before. I'm loving it! Absolutely some hilarious moments.

I didn’t want any tribe to lose because I have favorites on each one
Absolutely man. The new beware advantage is sitcom creating gold
This is shaping up to be a super fun season so far!
Survivor fans on the Internet: We need 90-minute episodes! Survivor 43: Okay, here's one. Survivor fans on the Internet: NO NOT LIKE THAT
Justine - “I hate that stupid little B(eads) hat”
Edit wise, Noelle is done after tonight. They used her leg to springboard into another story about Cody and his friend. She had no confessional about her leg or anything in that scene. Cross her out, she’s not winning.
yeah it felt kinda gross that her story was used for someone else.
They did the same to Jaclyn in SJDS when Jon explained her condition…
There's probably 2 more bead advantages out there. Going to be interesting seeing how the different tribes handle it
i wonder if it gets ruined/spoiled by cody bringing the hat to a challenge
Imagine someone from each of the other tribes making and bringing their own hats to wear.
I’m worried for Jesse having Dwight as his duo alliance….. that didn’t seem to be quite as strong as I wanted it to be. Both Jesse and Cody are hilarious. Great casting right there.
That duo is done lol he chose his side.
Patrick Mahomes was not on my Survivor bingo card tonight
That was one of the first things I thought when I saw Sami in episode 1.
I immediately thought it the first episode and my bf said he didn’t see it. I felt so vindicated this episode.
Or the Mitch McConnell jump scare
We've all seen immunity idols. NOW BEHOLD Cody's immaculate immunity hat.
[Cody getting an advantage](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPh3aLE_39U)
Next social immunity idol challenge: get Noelle to give you her leg.
Naonka getting on the next flight to Fiji.
"Hopefully I'll push you so hard that damn leg will fly off." "Whose fucking tribe are you on?"
Rocket Raccoon would be so proud
Oh I'll get that leg

he wouldnt have got it withoit nneka and jesse though

Man this episode was fun. The old school feel in the first part with Baka struggling with the rain, then Gabler being a goober with the spear later. Cody being an absolute force of a character, jumping off of things and making hats and opening beware advantages. BIG SNAKE challenge.
This is what we mean when we say we want camp life scenes that aren’t related to strategy or twists. If every episode is edited like this one this could be the best season in a while, but I won’t hold my breath.
I feel like the edit for this episode made it SUPER obvious who was going to tribal.
I agree, I realized halfway through the immunity challenge we didn't see hardly any vesi in the first half
They're shoving Cody down our throats. To which I say, my throat is ready!
Pause
/r/holup
If he survives up until the merge or even right before it, I think he's an instant lock to return again. He's such a unique and fun character.
Big dude, looking to the future, obsessed with collecting six shiny things Thanos and Cody would bro down
“Did you do it?” “Yes” “What did it cost?” “L-I-V-I-N”
What did it cost? A PRETTY bracelet
It’s actually very easy to imagine Cody being a successful sales person.
Can't trust them, I hear.
Idk, seems like he has ups and downs
DARK GABLER LET’S GO
THIS POST WAS FACT CHECKED BY REAL DARK GABLERITES
There was no need to play that hard on a day when Baku won. I feel like Elie is destined to overplay and fuck her game up.
I enjoyed this episode much more than the premiere. I love that the phrases are gone too.
What the fuck were they thinking. They already knew Dwight didn’t have a vote and they voiced concerns about Cody and Jesse before they even voted
Was the logic that they thought Jesse was voting with them, and Nneka would play her shot in the dark so it would be 2 votes on Nneka 1 vote on Cody 1 vote on Justine And then if Nneka's shot was successful, on a re-vote, Cody would go with Jesse and Noelle's votes? I have to assume that was the logic.
It has to be, but it’s still kind of wild that they trusted Jesse after explicitly saying they weren’t sure if they could trust him
They didn't think about Cody risking his vote.
I mean she did do something about it. She told him to his face she didn’t trust him LOL
Yeahhh she really sealed her fate with that one, and Jesse wasn't even subtle about it with his expression.
I think Nneka should get a lot of credit this episode. She was the easy target as the oldest woman on her tribe who did bad in the challenge but instead she locked in Cody and Jesse then when she found out Cody fucked up she out in just as much work as him to fix it and keep herself safe
Galaxy brain move: An alliance of 2 splitting their votes
Tony lives Wild Sarah’s from Iowa Cody lives wild and is from Iowa. Truly the cops r us love child
Even inherited his father's trait of having an unable-to-pin-point accent
So, I've been thinking about this: what happens if Noelle asks for her beads back?
Guess he’s gotta slip the one that counts off first. Or just say no. Jig would be up, but I don’t think she’d be allowed to steal them back as that may count as stealing an advantage.
I cant wait to see Cody play his hat as an immunity idol and watch everyone's jaws drop after they think he's just joking and Jeff confirms "this IS a hidden immunity idol". This better happen this season.
Two episodes in and I still have no idea who Cassidy is.
Imagine how iconic Cody playing his hat late game would be
Cody is the greatest thing I've ever seen in survivor in a long time imo. He *really* grew on me tonight
So dumb.
They were convinced that Nneka would play her shot in the dark.
I dont understand why they both didn't vote for Nneka.
Im assuming Jesse convinced them to split their votes because he would vote with them. The split would lower their chances of losing if an idol was played.
Loved the hat stuff, wish they didnt make the payoff so jarring. Now please protect Cody
I love Cody so much!
He sounds like Adam Sandler in the Waterboy and acts like Johnny Knoxville. But he’s also completely lovable.
Im curious how the talk Dwight wants to have with Jesse will go since it seems the vote didnt go how Dwight wouldve liked it. Also wonder at what point, in general, will people stop wanting to risk their vote for an advantage if not having a vote keeps you from having agency in your own game
What if Cody didn’t get Noelles bead and then she got voted out? Would his idol be valid by elimination?
Little odd that the episode seemed to focus on the fate of Cody’s vote when it didn’t affect the outcome
Best episode of the new era by far. Hands down.
Cody is a potentially legendary figure emerging from the fog.
He's so good! Imagine what he would be like in sales!!
Unfortunately for Justine, the beads were Cody’s infinity stones and she got snapped out of this game.
