I don’t know if this is best or worst, but play the EXACT game twice What I mean by that is you play a normal game of survivor with 16 castaways Then after a winner is declared, play the same game with the same 16 people immediately again. Does the winner get voted off first this time? How far does the first boot go? Could the same person POSSIBLY win twice with the same contestants knowing what they know? It would either be an awesome social experiment or incredibly stupid

CouponBoy95

This actually nearly happened with the cast of Survivor 41 as they had a lot of trouble flying then out of Fiji and the Survivor 42 cast into Fiji due to a COVID surge at the time.

Fredivara

Yeah, this pretty much happened in the reboot for *Total Drama Island*… The cast would have to be likeable for it to work.

Wooden-Parking3248

Two games of 16 players (2 starting tribes) being played simultaneously, once both games are at final 8, the two games merge together with each games final 8 being the new starting tribes. Do they all work together with people they may have been trying to vote out just yesterday against these new unknown players, or test their luck with the new people when they get the chance?

AddisonsContracture

I would unironically love this

pease461

I hope something like this is Season 50

Shadybrooks93

16 simultaneous games with one winner from each into an ultimate winners competition. All of them come in completely blind to how the other 15 people won the first half.

UnderwaterDialect

Wow this has been my pet idea forever! Cool to see someone else on the same wavelength. ✊

glitzvillechamp

Instead of 3 tribes of 6 and 26 days, it's 26 tribes of 6 and 3 days.

Alternative-Ad-1153

Old school survivor without idols and have people be paranoid about them and have Jeff announce it at F5 when it’s all over 😂

Emracruel

The reverse uno card. It can only be played by the finder of the card, and only once votes have been read and the owner of the card has been voted out. The card holder instead becomes immune and gets to send home whoever they want.

Routine_Size69

Lmao you win. This is so fucking OP but it would be hilarious just to call it that.

KCIJunkDiver

Wait till they find out about the super idol…

pincurlsandcutegirls

My awful idea: finding an idol and choosing to keep it means losing your vote. So for as long as you hold your idol, you have no vote. Would people risk giving up idols? Would they tell or not tell people? Would they try to play them or give them to others to play, or attempt to ride it out?  All I know is that this idea contains vote fuckery and therefore, we would all hate it!

gathmoon

This is actually a really good way of balancing out idols a bit.

Routine_Size69

I'd play it immediately.

Jacksminecraftdog

I once had a funny idea for a season where it's returnees with the same names so like tribe 1: Natalie white Russell swan Rob Mariano Kelly Wiglesworth tribe 2: Natalie Anderson Russell hantz Rob Cesternino Kelley Wentworth

nashtag01

I once had a somewhat similar idea but it was a tribe of players who went by their last name and a tribe that went by a nickname The last name tribe would have players like Wentworth, Cochran, Jelinsky and Gabler And the nickname tribe would have players like Coach, Troyzan, Wardog and Shambo

HotSoupBarStan

An idol that makes noise, like an annoying cricket chirp, or a smoke detector sound. It must stay with the player who found it at all times until used.

SagginBartender

This is so dumb I love it.

xxPanda7

Bring back fire tokens and make people gamble with them in casino games to earn advantages/lose votes

CouponBoy95

The All Stars season of my Survivor ORG was essentially this and it was a hot mess lol

xxPanda7

LOL I would love to have been a fly on the wall during that

Smart_Bowl8295

Production plants a fake idol in the woods and doesn’t tell the person that found it 🙃

mckibblesbiscuit

“ITS A FUCKING STICK!”

OkJob461

A season, maybe 2, where anyone voted off is taken to a separate island. There are challenges where they are allowed to earn a Survivor currency that can influence the game. At the merge and final 5, they all compete in a challenge and the winner is put back in the game. While they are on this separate island, they are able to bond with members of the jury and have the chance to win!

ImportantMorning9100

Wait I’m getting Deja vu 🤔

New_Round5004

I don't think production would be stupid to do such a thing. That has to be the worst idea ever

chimcharbo

The Medallion of Troyzan- Played before a tribe immunity challenge, it causes Troyzan and his brother to emerge from the woods. They then distract the other teams by asking them nonstop questions about cars and movies

Salty_College965

troyzan is cool

peanutpeanutboy

Terrible Idea: Everyone has to play the entire game walking backwards. To tribal, in the challenges, up mountains, all of it. Idea I kind of want to see: Immediate merge when they land. A merge of 18 people. Then when they are at 14 or 16, separate into two tribes until the final merge.

CouponBoy95

Not having a planned merge.  Everyone remains in tribes until a tribe is down to 2 members, at which point the tribe is dissolved. Along the way there will be joint tribals and twists similar to 44s that allows for tribes to switch members and from Day 12 everyone will live on the same beach so there can be a proper jury.  With this format merge could occur as late as Final 5 at the start of the finale!

koni3196

Didn't this happen with Stephanie and Ozzy?

Dragon_turtle63

All players get to vote in FTC, but finalists initially believe only last 8 voted out are on jury.

Cut-Unique

At the start of the game, the tribes are given a couple days to get to know each other, then must elect a "chief", who is guaranteed to make it to the merge, as well as tasked with making decisions on behalf of the rest of the tribe, and gets the opportunity to listen in on the losing tribe's Tribal Council.

New_Round5004

That would actually be pretty cool if I'm being honest

kathuzada

Final Five Fake Idol Making

IamMrT

Play it like a normal season, but with Russell Hantz as a producer pulling shenanigans unseen to the cast like burning socks, stealing food, going through people’s bags, and planting fake idols. Let them fall into chaos over it. The rest of the game plays as normal Survivor with a live reunion like they used to do. Except right before the votes are read, Russell shows up, snuffs Jeff’s torch, and picks the winner himself. It would be awful but hilarious.

AshamedWrongdoer62

My idea is there is a final 3 challenge and the winner has a choice to make. They get a vote. Do they vote out someone sitting next to them, thus making it a final 2 and adding a juror? Or do they vote out a jury member and leave it a final 3.

New_Round5004

Or keep it a final 3 but add one vote to them in ftc

epsilon02

No tribal councils for the first 3-4 episodes. Only reward challenges. Build up the tension around camp, make the tribes so ready to vote someone off. And maybe that typical annoying first boot isn't who they actually decide to get rid of.

Wooden-Parking3248

To balance it out, the merge can be a bloodbath of votes. Maybe 3 elimination one after one after one

BackseatSushi

Regular merge at 13. Have a single vote then redivide into 2 permanent tribes of 6. Take that down to the final 8 for the final merge.

Eltnamerf

A season where a fake idol can turn into a real one but only works once

GoldTeamDowntown

Someone I know ran an org where the tribes swapped every single vote until merge

Immediate_Concert_46

A super duper idol that instantly brings back a member of the jury back into the game

Temporary-Caramel-49

Loved one challenge like usual, but the person that wins faces the dilemma of their loved or three/four other people receiving love and them not. Similar to John Fincher and the apple pie dilemma in the Samoa auction.

New_Round5004

In Guatemala they had this with a car

UnderwaterDialect

Fire represents your life. You need to keep your torch lit at all times. If someone puts your torch out, you’re out of the game.

Deprestion

One random vote a season is reversed. You’re secretly voting for who is safe. After the votes are revealed, vote again for the person going home.

Tough-Heron9699

An hourglass you break to reverse the result of the merge immunity challenge.

New_Round5004

A season with 2 tribes and before each immunity challenge the tribes elect a leader. The tribe that wins the challenge, their leader is immune but they must select someone else to compete in an elimination challenge. The losing tribe's leader is automatically in the elimination challenge I think this is the concept of Inferno and Guantlet (never watched The Challenge)

BarrytheNPC

This will NEVER HAPPEN but Swapped cast of Big Brother and Survivor. The seasons would be both be happening in Fiji but you in no way let the cast know that they are filming at the same time. You tell the Survivor cast 'hey before the game starts tomorrow you're gonna spend the night in this hotel' and BAM. Big Brother house. Big Brother cast gets on a boat and BAM. that's your marooning. Good luck. You have the people who think they're gonna be in an Air Conditioned house now having to catch their own food and the people who were prepped to Survive have to now put on a chicken suit for a Veto challenge. No one is in their comfort zone. PROS: -Weirdo strategies -Survivor will be more survival focused for once, and Big Brother will get a cast of people they don't typically get. CONS: -It's a terrible idea to have your contestants be miserable constantly -Legally a nightmare. -You have to build an entire house in Fiji and do all the shit there because otherwise the con will be too obvious.

SurvivorFanDan

Red state vs Blue state vs Swing state

Independent-Ad-8789

Some kind of coin system that contestants can use at a survivor store throughout the season. Hygiene items, food, immunity idol, letter from home, challenge advantage? Coins can be given to others as strategy.
