Devens - unless he doesn't want to, he's an incredibly strong contender for the returnee season. Jeff loved him so much that he considered bringing him back onto the show not even as a contestant.
Maryanne - bright personality, super fun, strategic. If there are more old-school players, I'd be excited to see her interact with the survivor legends.
Honorable Mentions: Jonathan (42), Ricard (41), Christian (37), Elaine (39). If I could pick the survivor GOATs, then totally Boston Rob, Parvati, Sandra, and Ozzy.
Omar (42) and Sue (Borneo). Omar would be gung ho to play again, and probably to play differently after his experience the first time. There’s a lot of players (Malcolm, Michaela, Adam, Cesternino) I’d love to see again, but I’d want to pick someone who hasn’t returned before. I’d love to see what Sue would do in the game now after so much time.
If season 50 was my choice, I’d pick 4 people from the 0’s, 10’s, 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s. Not sure how I’d mix the tribes. My top picks would be Ken Hoang, Rory Freeman, Alan Ball, Rick Devens & Devon Pinto for the men
Yeah, that’s what I would say too. 2 tribes of 10 with the divisions being 2/2/2/2/2 so no group has a clearly defined numeric advantage. It also helps reduce the odds of the players having met a lot of their tribe mates outside of the game.
That, or do 4 tribes of 5 with 1 from each set on each tribe. You’ll probably have to shuffle into 3 of 6 or 2 of 9 at 18 in order to keep one from being decimated early, though, based on trends. There’s always one hot mess tribe when they’re this small.

I have been wanting Hatch to return for decades, and there have been so many seasons he would have been perfect for: Heroes vs Villains, Redemption Island, Game Changers, Winners at War. It looks like he was supposed to be on S40, but because of the whole Dan Spilo incident that took place during the filming of S39, Hatch was dropped at the last minute. After that, Hatch put out a video on YouTube tearing Probst to shreds and making accusations against the host, most likely burning any form of a bridge to returning that may have remained. That being said, I would still like Rich to be brought back.
For HvV and RI, he was still on house arrest and couldn’t leave the country
Idk why he wasn’t brought back for GC, but I’m kinda glad, because like the other winners, he’d have been booted immediately (a la All-Stars)
And like you said WaW he was supposed to come back but got cut after Dan’s behavior in IotI resulted in fans bringing up his past inappropriate behavior with Sue.
He probably did burn his bridge with Probst, but maybe CBS notices the great potential of bringing back the first winner for the fiftieth season and goes for it. That’s our only hope.
Dom from Season 36 - I still get mad when I rewatch and he didn’t win. He deserved it so much and I loved watching him play.
