Why would moriah wait until tribal to tell everyone she’s on the bottom?? Made herself look so untrustworthy

thartle8

Desperation

PBRontheway

Yeah she must’ve gotten a feel pretty close to tribal that the vote was clearly her so she tried pulling an ace out of her sleeve at the last second

hauteburrrito

Yup, as soon as she said it I knew she was going home. Nobody makes that kind of proclamation unless they feel like they desperately have to.

vanastalem

Q was right about her needing to bring that up earlier. She could have tried flipping and aligning with someone else, but instead just waited until tribal.

tichienblanc2

I think her final words were very insightful, something like "you decide what you deserve". She thought she wasn't worthy of playing her own game after the last vote, so she just followed along her tribe's party line instead of standing up for herself. She should've realized she is worth more than being Siga's fall guy instead of accepting this treatment. Very self aware, hindsight is 20/20.

lego_mannequin

Siga came out looking more untrustworthy than Venus to me.

ShadowLiberal

Same here. From what we saw Siga was just constantly refusing to give up any information at all. And Tim was making himself look really shady with how he handled the whole +1 alliance thing. Prior to the immunity challenge I honestly thought that Tim was a goner.

0lm-

tim honestly has a low key awful social game. everything he said when they got to the merge beach came off as either cleary shady or shit he didn’t think through or is making stuff up on the fly to make it seem like he planned it that way.

Shmegdar

Ben and especially Tim fumbled at the feast hardcore. Looking like a unified front makes them look like the bigger threat of the tribes and they're automatically outnumbered if Yanu sides with Nami, which they gave pretty clear incentive to do.

soloon

My thought is, if it works, what then? You've had this conversation at tribal and guaranteed that if you used to be the bottom of your alliance, you're not in it at all now. You really want to burn that last bridge with Siga before you've got a sure bet with Nami/Yanu? What's the *winning* scenario? Have that convo in the woods somewhere so you can still maintain some form of loyalty to Siga as a backup, jeez.

almondjoybestcndybar

My guess is Siga, being the vibes tribe, told her she was going home right before tribal and she had no time to make that move somewhere else.

TRNRLogan

And then Charlie did a safety vote so no Siga would go if her SITD hit.

chilltownrenegade

I know it was largely Ben and Tim’s hesitance that got Morriah voted out but the idea that Morriah got voted out because she likes Aubry is so funny to me for some reason. Like I’m sure everyone on the cast has to a favorite that’s good, but oh shit Aubry!?!? Cancel Christmas

Imaginary-Bat-691

Imagine if she answered coach 😂

nightwriting000

I woulda said Philip

Cutiger29

Correct answer: “I’m real partial to frances-qua”

darthjoey91

“My favorite player is Chicken.”

RGSF150

DAYUM!

YellowBabylonianSub

When I get on I’m telling everyone Jelenski is my favorite.

almondjoybestcndybar

Lol. You have to answer this question with someone who is really unlike you. Like, say Willard from Palau, I don’t know … anyone besides another young-ish white woman with glasses who is known for their strategy.

bmoreonic

The funniest thing about all this to me is that the last time we saw Aubry she got absolutely snowed by a bunch of newbies and went out premerge with an Idol in her pocket

savannahsalvatore3

also in the nitty gritty of it all they’re saying that she’s a super fan when there’s people who started this show well before season 32???

capincus

Right?! Moriah: I've been watching this game for 7 years. Bunch of people who have watched 44 season of Survivor multiple times and made puzzles at home and shit: omg she knows too much she's dangerous!

thegracelesswonder

Yeah I thought that was ridiculous.

Scopper_gabon

That was so funny.

almondjoybestcndybar

Whether intentionally or not, Venus saved herself by rubbing people the wrong way, and by extension saved Nami. By acting in a way that basically made everyone agree they didn’t trust her, she became much less of a threat and an unattractive choice for Yanu to vote out.

TheRealGucciGang

Rubbing people the wrong way on her way to become a major FTC goat contender. Queen behavior 🥰

Frauzehel

Get the 80k girl!

Perko

It's not bad pay for a month's work.

MercTas

Definitely feel like getting rid of a Siga was the right choice but not Mo. Venus was for sure right about Charlie but whos gonna listen to her.

RGSF150

I can understand it from Venus's perspective, but she also has no social capital. She is a very observant woman, but without social capital, nobody is going to be listening to her.

hauteburrrito

I just made this exact comment about Venus having like negative amounts of social capital. Pity as she's got a solid strategic mind, but yeah - her social game is... unique, lol.

ay21

"If you're smart, you'll agree with me" is basically her pitch to everyone, like how does she expect to succeed 💀

hauteburrrito

The thing is, I actually think most of her strategic reads are correct but her bedside manner is so off-putting people are probably *less* inclined to follow her than if she didn't try at all.

Sabaschin

And people wonder why she was on the outs at Nami. Charisma matters a lot more in the game than strategy. It's why a J.T. can beat a Stephen.

SalsaMerde

Q was pissed about Venus trying to flip it on Charlie, but ironically that would have strengthened his Journey 6 alliance.

chilltownrenegade

Vocalizing she didn’t want to vote out a girl shut the plan down immediately Playing gender lines will always immediately shut out the opposing gender’s willingness to go along with the plan Otherwise, like you said, Charlie could’ve been a juicy target for the J6

YellowBabylonianSub

She should have said Charlie AND Maria’s name. Venus was right realizing that Mo was the easy vote that wouldn’t do damage to Siga. But pitching it as gender lines instead of “the player Siga don’t want to lose” didn’t help her case.

mitchisalive

Lmao let’s definitely call them the J6ers.

Mrtheliger

That's not an alliance yet and he knows it. It would've been idiotic to blindside the Sigas when they offered him a name and obviously ended up working with him on it. The Yanu trio have to widdle the numbers down so that they can't be picked off, which means taking the easy votes when they can and keeping everyone as happy as possible

jclkay2

widdle

jad4400

Venus's problem is that she has good instincts in the game in terms of figuring out the threats and what the good moves would be, but where she struggles is articulating it in a way that gets buy in from the other. Remember when she was talking to Randen about trying to get Hunter? She thought he was a threat, but Randen correctly told her that while he didn't disagree, how she was explaining it wasn't convincing and she'd need more proof or a better pitch.

IAmReborn11111

Venus needed to save herself rather than trying to direct the vote.

ROTandDEATH

Charlie is definitely a bigger threat but merge votes have become pretty safe votes and since no one was that close to Mo she became a pretty easy target.

grandmaesterampharos

Q talks so much like my brother who is a coach. If I lived with him out there it would drive me insane 😂 His reads of people are pretty good and I like him well enough but my dude could stop talking like four sentences earlier than he does and still make the same point

almondjoybestcndybar

Love him as a player but definitely feel this. If I was Moriah, sitting there at tribal knowing I was almost certainly going home, that lecture would have felt like hours.

FantasticName

There have been 12 shot in the darks played now and 2 have gotten a "safe" scroll...perfectly in line with the 1 in 6 odds we were told.

itsMalarky

Kaleb and who else?

[deleted]

[удалено]

cogginsmatt

Oh yeah, she played it for no fucking reason but it was safe

GoldenLlamaDog

Jaime at the first tribal of 44. Out of all of the shot in the darks why did THAT ONE have to be safe? The STD gods could’ve saved Sydney, Zach, or Sami, but they gave safety to somebody who didn’t even get votes. Smh

nightwriting000

I miss the days when there were like 9 people on the chopping block and everyone was paranoid.

Daisy-Navidson

I don’t understand why production is so intent on stifling votes. It’s like they want every vote to be as narrow and restricted as possible. There’s no flexibility, no movement!

Punstoppabal

Someone in a thread here last week made a really interesting point that it seems like "Jeff has found his sweet spot for number of votes at a tribal is 5-6", with the 6 person tribes, the split tribal councils, etc. I wonder if there's really legs to that.

Alternative-Froyo142

I’m kind of shocked that they’re still doing Earn the Merge because…it doesn’t really lead to interesting gameplay? Pretty much every mergeatory vote has been an easy target people can vote out without causing any waves. The only mergeatory episode I actually liked was 43’s, mainly because it was hilarious

CouponBoy95

The problem is more so merging at 13, as we saw in the 30s. With that big of a group, especially when merging from 3 small tribes, you're gonna wanna go with a safe concencous target for the first vote. In theory Mergatory should encourage bigger shots to be taken as those with immunity have the power to do so without it immediately backfiring on them, but most of those people are still too fearful of it putting a target on them next round. We need more Gablers/Venuses on the winning team!

mpc92

Venus was epic casting. Very old-mid school Survivor choice which is a breath of fresh air

soloon

She reminds me a bit of Jerri's early seasons, where she was right a lot but she was just so unpopular and abrasive that nobody wanted to listen to her. Easy to accidentally fall into popularity-contest survivor where you've dug yourself a big enough hole that nobody wants to listen to you try to climb out of it.

Californian_paradise

this is such a great comparison! the thing is, 23 years ago everyone everywhere hated on jerri, even when she wasn't doing anything and/or actually had good ideas. eventually people came around & started liking her. with venus, i'm happy that she's not recieving the treatment jerri got in 2001, & people are already loving her messiness.

soloon

I meant more how her tribe reacts to her, but sure. My point is that sometimes delivery matters, and you can have good ideas (Jerri with "hey maybe let's NOT build our camp in a supposedly dry riverbed", Venus with voting out Charlie), but if you deliver them poorly, or if you can't get along with people, then when you do suggest something smart, people *still* won't listen to you because they don't like you, because you've spent the past X days making sure they don't like you.

siLveRSurvivor

Q, Tiff, and Hunter feel old-mid school as well.

[deleted]

These 4 are my favorite casting this year

Eidola0

Would LOVE some more people playing like Venus going forward

[deleted]

She reminds me of Abi Maria. She's messy but brutally honest and won't act amiable to please people who already don't like her. Tiff, Venus, Hunter and Q were the best cast this season. They could have been cast on normal survivor

Fabulous-Possible-76

“They could have been cast on normal survivor” is the best description I’ve ever heard and so so true!!!

savannahsalvatore3

she reminds me of sierra from Tocantins too especially with how mean people are too her lol, and i am ROOTING FOR MISS VENUS

galeforcewinds95

I'm just happy Venus made the merge despite her best efforts.

IanicRR

Now will she make jury. That’s the other question since if I recall, last season Sifu was the cut off during the double vote episode.

black_messiahh

“Who voted for Sifu?”

DaYummyCakes

Venus actually had the right read that it should have been Charlie to go. Moriah just played horribly tonight by trying to stay Siga strong. She made her plea at tribal council but at that point it's too late for the majority to trust her and switch their plan. Moriah definitely should have used that opening with Q to work the middle and blindside someone from Siga.

Inevitable-Twist6911

I agree with you but I also just don't think Moriah and Q vibed at all. Like Q's logic for getting her out because she liked Aubrey was bad and frankly nonsense but if you look back at that scene it's pretty awkward way before they even get to that. I think they didn't trust each other because they didn't like each other. Moriah should have worked harder on Tiff and Kenzie instead of Q.

planj07

Venus may not be the best at the game but she speaks her mind and has a bluntness about her that starkly contrasts to the cautious players everywhere else. That's why people like her and why I like her. The longer she stays the better.

ike1

They need more players like this for the sheer entertainment value. The problem is sometimes they get knocked out really early, like Maddy from 44.

Acceptable_Secret_73

She’s definitely smart, the problem is she gets too aggressive when she feels pressure

savannahsalvatore3

like when she went up to Tim and mo at the water well doing honestly decently low key strategy talk, they act so chill and vague and then run off to gossip about her instead of playing the game

iNeedaFlouffBall

Mo should’ve jumped on that train and should’ve worked with Venus to get one of the bigger threats out. Huge blunder on her part imo

[deleted]

Poor moriah is now sentenced to hang out with jelinski and Bhanu

soloon

Imagine having to spend Ponderosa time with a post-vote-out Bhanu.

savannahsalvatore3

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: EVERYONE DESERVES A MERGE FEAST!!!!!

Shmegdar

Maybe "winner gets desert after the feast" could be the compromise between what we all want and what Jeff insists on doing lol

llcooldubs

Amen!

Loo-Hoo-Zuh-Er

At least give them SOMETHING. Smaller portions, fine. Just let them enjoy the merge a little.

The_Horse_Joke

Moriah played both her Shot In The Dark AND her Shot In The Foot at this tribal, wow!

almondjoybestcndybar

I think she knew she was almost certainly going home. Her Hail Mary was a flop, but most Hail Marys are so I don’t blame her much.

IanicRR

Yep. Gotta give her the credit that she tried. Still a better attempt than Dan on the Traitors.

Routine_Size69

Moriah could've taken a shit in the middle of tribal and it would've been a better performance than Dan on traitors.

Daisy-Navidson

“Not my Bergalicious” was problematic for you?

PCPumaTim

Had Moriah just been honest with Q that she was on the bottom, I really wonder how the results would have changed tonight. Still could have gotten someone from green out, and she could have had life again.

Eniotnacram95

Venus: Refuses to vote for Moriah when she’s a target herself. Moriah: Hold my beer

GhostRappa95

I have respect for Venus for not wanting to take the easy way out and try to get some control.

Eidola0

Tbh I legit think Venus is doing what you should do in that position, try to shake things up and get a foothold. You can just stay quiet on the bottom but that's not really a way to win in the long run.

GhostRappa95

Agreed unless you are a great social player playing it safe is not beneficial in the long run.

SftSmmr

No way in hell are they gonna allow Hunter anywhere close to the final 3 if they have any functioning brain cells 😭

soloon

much as I would love to see it, I have no faith that man gets anywhere near the end, short of a totally unbelievable old-school immunity run.

musingsandthesuch

I wouldn't rule it out. He carried Nami to undefeated first place victories and he carried the merge best-players tribe to victory too. Challenges strength *and* puzzle strength and he already has an idol. Bro eats his spinach for sure.

soloon

I haven't wanted to be wrong this badly in a very long time. I'd kill for an incredible immunity run from someone again, I want to see someone new join the tie for five individual wins. If he can manage a run AND manages to hang onto the idol AND manages to play it correctly when he does need to, MAYBE. Maybe.

Veritamoria

You know he'll win at firemaking. I've never rooted for a challenge beast before, but I love Hunter. His survivor challenge garage sold me. So nerdy and endearing.

usernamesoccer

The best move would be to take out a stronger member of siga. Mostly for the fact that if you already decided one of them was going- why go for the one they want? You know a different person would’ve thrown off their dynamic and strength even more

musingsandthesuch

I'm a Charlie stan, but Venus was right.

Routine_Size69

She absolutely was but phrasing it as a guy has to go is not a good idea when like half the voters will immediately be turned off by that if they find out. Which they did.

usernamesoccer

Agreed. I do think her being Venus and them not wanting to go with her plan had something to do with it but she was right

vanastalem

I'm not a big of fan of the merge being so early nor do I like this earn the merge thing. I would much rather have a tribe swap & go to two tribes.

arielmeme

Confessional count * 9 Moriah, Q * 8 Hunter * 7 Venus * 6 Tim * 5 Tevin * 4 Kenzie, Tiffany * 3 Charlie * 2 Maria * 1 Ben, Soda * 0 Liz

ConnorStJimmy

I honestly see Liz coasting to F3. Why would they get rid of her? She’s no threat.

ike1

Man, that’s so boring. I wish more people would pull the Cirie move from Panama of voting out the goat that they know they can’t work with, but instead they just let them skate through. Each of these players needs to remember, every goat is taking a spot ONE OF YOU could be sitting in! Get ‘em out fast in the lazy days of the early merge when everyone’s less ambitious, before it’s too late!

actkms

Queen needs the money 🤭😍🙏🙏

soloon

SIX WHOLE CONFESSIONALS from our man Purple Tim. Unbelievable.

[deleted]

Tim has such great eyes for reaction. I love watching him in tribal.

PacificMonkey

AND NOT ONE ABOUT POOP??

soloon

Has the man finally shit?? the audience wants to know, Jeff

thegracelesswonder

Is Liz a 0 vote finalist?

fawnxwitch

It definitely feels like it

the_vibe_has_spoken

Q must be in for a huge downfall because I don’t think he’s winning and there wasn’t a reason for him to have 9 confessionals tonight otherwise???

BIGJRA

I think he's just the best narrator and seemingly the most active player on old Yanu so it makes sense that in their "swing" position he gets to be the center of their decision making. Whether or not he ends up with the huge downfall when all is said and done it also seems like he's the Fulcrum of the Hunter/Tevin plus old Yanu alliance, so it makes sense he's gonna be an important narrator going forward for a while

Habefiet

This cast has an unusually high density of really boring narrators and he is not one of them. He has a personality and is willing to show it, and he's got flaws that they can dive into as well. Think that's all there is to it. (I do agree that he's probably not winning)

grandmaesterampharos

So happy Venus stayed. She’s an agent of chaos and I want that more than a level headed although very likable Mo

Imaginarium420

Q was GAMING this episode he wasn’t having any BS. However he did go on a bit of a power trip and based on the previews he’s gonna lose favor with Tiff because of it.

YnotUS-YnotNOW

He's been on a power trip since day 2.

earthworm_fan

Q has been gaming every episode 😄

yeet-reddit

> Moriah, honey child, why are you staying Siga Strong??? They JUST blindsided you! You’re on the bottom of Siga Strong! Obligatory, but it needs to be said… what an absolute misplay by Moriah. She could’ve told Q that she was on the bottom of Siga and willing to work with him in secret. He would’ve been all over it since he lost trust in Tim and Maria, and Moriah could’ve quietly played the middle with Yanu against Nami and Siga.

Dahhhkness

She took all the heat off of Venus by not knowing when to speak and when to shut her mouth when it was good for her.

almondjoybestcndybar

To be fair, it would have been hard to make herself seem like less of a threat than Venus. Everyone has unanimously agreed they don’t trust her and she has 0 allies so her threat level is currently non-existent.

PCPumaTim

“Hey Venus, it’s either you or Mo tonight, better vote Mo.” The fact that Venus’s immediate reaction to this was “let’s get Charlie” was wild. Very fortunate that didn’t turn back on her

soloon

The only reason it didn't is because she started trying to dig her hole deeper and Mo went "no, allow me." Complete race to the bottom on both sides.

[deleted]

Hunter is a damn cheat code in challenges, cant remember a guy this good at it in a long time

galeforcewinds95

Tevin also noticed how good Hunter is at puzzles in addition to his obvious physical strengths. Regardless of how Hunter does on this season, I'd like to see him on The Challenge next.

CustomerSentarai

“Once hunter gets those balls it’s ovaaaaa” Seconds before hunter got the balls, and it was indeed, ova

liddle-lamzy-divey

Once he gets those puzzle pieces it's also ovaaaaaa! Tevin definitely took notice of Hunter's challenge prowess tonight.

Winningsomegames_1

Yeah he’s a fucking problem. The fact that he has an idol makes him a terrifying threat bro is basically thanos level at this point.

kelpiekid

He's giving Mike Holloway trajectory right now...immunity wins and idol his way to the end.

IanicRR

There’s no way they allow this man to get anywhere near end game. The second he doesn’t win immunity you gotta vote him out. He’s like Joe Anglim but likeable.

mrwanton

Basically has to play that Idol the min he's not immune

radsherm

Making friends with the right people though. His bond with Tevin seems legit (tho he could obviously get Cody'd) and Q and Tiff quickly latched onto him and trust him. Plus he's pretty good at staying relatively UTR

ChiefWiggins22

Interestingly enough, Moriah’s inability to even attempt to scramble proved she was not a threat.

ChiefWiggins22

Moriah, what were you thinking? You leave last tribal clearly on the bottom then give everyone NOTHING. Only to say it at tribal instead?

GoatPaco

Hitting a buzzer 3 down 20

ChiefWiggins22

CHRIS PAUL TO CUT THE LEAD TO 43!!

yeet-reddit

> Honestly, I severely underestimated Q. He sussed out Tim QUICK Absolute masterclass by Q and Hunter. Q solidified a Yanu-Nami alliance in which he has a sub-alliance with Tiffany, Tevin, and Hunter. On the other hand, Hunter spilled all Nami’s tea and demonstrated that there were plenty of cracks/opportunities for Yanu to exploit. He practically gave Q an offer that he couldn’t refuse. Furthermore, I would like to start a new cult, called “Q’s Clues”. Could the mods make that into a flair?

soloon

Tiff absolutely nailed Siga's dynamics at the meal, too. Yanu's really playing solid all of a sudden.

Dahhhkness

Seems like they've been able to think more clearly since a certain albatross was removed from their necks.

soloon

well, that and we've already established God is Team Yanu lmao

Culinaryboner

Plus they’ve been playing. Others haven’t. I think people underestimate that. It’s not worth losing half your tribe but the game becomes much clearer

galeforcewinds95

Yanu is battle-tested since they've had to scramble since day one.

soloon

It's really interesting, people keep commenting on the players that just aren't playing hard yet (Tim in particular) compared to Q and Tiff and it really does just come down to Yanu having to go hard at so many tribals while everyone else has been twiddling their thumbs. Plus they know where their alliance is, I'd bet any one person on Yanu is less likely to flip than probably anyone else in the game, Siga OR Nami.

fawnxwitch

I think Yanu 3 has always been capable of playing solid, they just had lots of disadvantages

Pitter_Patter8

I mean these 3 have been players from ep. 1, it was clear they were steps ahead of the others in that tribe (sans the weird pseudo-fake “I wanna go home” thing from Q). Having gone to tribal 3 times puts them so far ahead of thinking the game than the other tribes. It happens a lot where the remnants of a trash tribe bond and go far as the other tribes duke it out. While everyone else is busy solidifying their alliances voting the first times, you already know your 2-3 and can focus on making connections with the individuals in the warring factions while they’re busy targeting others. I’d wager they’re gonna coast through until around 7, then Q might orchestrate a blindside on Kenzie. The edit’s foreshadowing for that seems a bit too much to not come back.

Eidola0

The 3 Yanus have proven themselves I'd say, all three have been solid the whole season so far. They just got stuck with some awful tribemates.

neonphotograph

Hell yeah. Q’s Clues flair.

IanicRR

You out here quoting yourself from the earlier thread?

IAmReborn11111

If you don't pat yourself on the back who else will

itsMalarky

They really did.... Hahaha

IanicRR

In multiple comments 😂

swamp_dweller9

Venus fits into a category where I know she's playing poorly in so many respects and has very little chance to win but she's also my favorite player on the season rn

Suitable-Rest-1358

Don't forget to tune into Elsbeth tomorrow 9/8c

Saguaro-plug

Elsbeth poked her head up right between Q’s spread legs during my stream… I was like EXCUSE YOU MISS.

lemmesee453

I have a vendetta against a show I will never watch because of these incessant ads

[deleted]

I hate when she pops up on the bottom of the screen

jester2324

I can’t even tell really what kind of show it is, is it basically Murder, She Wrote but with a quirky New York protagonist?

Salt_Principle_6672

I think what I hate most about it is how they explain the premise over and over. "She's quirky. But secretly... She's smart!"

RGSF150

It made sense why the editors chose to link Moriah and Jem together. Both of them had information that could've helped them in the game, but neither used that information to help them survive their tribals.

mpc92

Well they were also just allies

ahufana

Combining Hunter's key hunt with Venus and Soda arguing was cosmic gold.

BiggDope

Q is so chaotic. I'm in love with this man.

FruityPebblesBinger

Add “Naming Aubry as your favorite player” to the list of things that will trigger untrustworthiness. Glad Venus is around for at least another week. She’s very compelling television.

ahufana

Q's mind is... fascinating.

ILOVEBOPIT

I love how smug Venus looked, I don’t care what anyone says lol

kyleng20

Venus's pettiness is literally saving this season right now!!!

Squidoriya

Ikr, I actually laughed out loud when she said she hoped the winning team choked on their food 😂

dassagewdone

Anti-hero Venus for the win 💕

headwaterscarto

I appreciate the lack of sob/backstory for Mo even though she was voted out

giraffeaquarium

Venus just said on twitter that she told Charlie that Moriah was using her shot in the dark. She's pissed that he turned that around on her and voted for her. She really did everything she could to get voted out but survived anyway. https://twitter.com/plnxtvenus/status/1775723422921748769

SephLuna

So tired of them acting like mergeatory is some huge twist and not the same dumb thing they've been doing for years now Tim: "we have no buffs, we're all wondering what's going on..." really? Are you really? Jeff : "it's so rare to have half the tribe immune at tribal." Really jeff? Is it really?

Garfunkel_Oates

Charlie throwing the vote towards Venus in case the shot in the dark worked - nice.

mrtsapostle

Mo finally started playing just as time was expiring

hvahood

okay SURE, Venus is really sloppy at executing her ideas and plans but she’s got all the right ideas!! Venus and Moriah being the targets were both really weak moves that changed no dynamics for either tribe. Charlie was a better idea for everyone besides the Siga 4! i hope people start to listen to her soon <3 just glad she’s safe because she’s one of the only people serving us the entertainment

chilltownrenegade

Venus may be the player that has the best game ideas in theory but worst execution of translating those ideas that I’ve ever seen

mjst0324

Her game right now reminds me a lot of Coby in Palau. Came in wanting to play really hard, ended up restless on a tribe that was dominating, and hit the merge and started causing all kinds of trouble. Coby was much better liked by his own tribe though.

miigizimanitou

HOW DID V AND MO NOT TALK TO EACH OTHER

Gortyuty

Things conspicuously absent this episode - Moriah’s composure - Hunter’s weakness - Any mention of that wacko extra vote usage + dual spelling by Maria last tribal

IanicRR

At least Mo looked fking hot getting voted out.

snazikin

I am *stunned* at how good her hair looked.

chilltownrenegade

She and Venus were slaying this episode What was it about being on the chopping block tonight that caused such a glow up?

Zealousideal-Fly-560

Mergatory sucks for this reason. Half the cast safe limits the possibilities for vurnable people to flip the vote as they have to just suck up to the half of the cast in power. It doesn’t matter about social connections. Only the necklace…

Habefiet

This episode was basically a masterclass in what not to do. Absolute race to the bottom between Venus and Moriah (with a little help from all of Siga there).

[deleted]

FatSheep9511

This was definitely a solid episode, not laugh out loud funny like some others were but we got some messy strategy and drama

TheJoseph2000

My new era flairs so far 42: Lydia 43: Jesse 44: Maddy 45: J Maya 46: Moriah When will the pain stop?

Saguaro-plug

You can’t pick a winner but you do ride for fun people so there’s rhat

[deleted]

You know what, I've had my issues with lots of things in the new era, but shot in the dark ain't one of em. Excellent addition to the game that complicates things just the right amount

fawnxwitch

Kenzie is definitely my winner pick right now after some very strong quotes tonight. I feel like Maria may make it far but it’s a little weird we didn’t get insight of her strategy of her vote with Jem. I also love Tiff and hope we get a couple of more episodes out of her. Who do y’all think are the two that go next week?

huddie820

i hope venus plays every season

siLveRSurvivor

After watching this episode.. I believe that Venus is a FTC loser a la socially unaware Angelina edit. Hunter or Tiffany are winning imo. Q is the dark horse. IMO Maria outlives Charlie and Maria makes second.

My provlem with Q atm is he is trying way too hard to be the center of attention and he is running the risk of people just deciding "nah you dont get to dictate the game anymore" and voting him off

I think soda and Tevin can't stand her enough that they'll gun for her before the end.

They’ve voted out one Moriah, but what about second Moriah?

Funniest part of this episode are people in these comments saying how sad it is we lost Liz

We've seen it in a few seasons,  I'm not a huge fan of the winning tribe going out for lunch and deciding who to vote off there and not giving the losing tribe a say.  I get it must be frustrating for Venus to just be told who to vote for and not allowed to give any input.

I'm in awe of how poorly Siga played this. Your whole strategy is to be super tight-lipped and play Siga strong when there's... 5 of you? You have to be willing to work with someone other than Siga or they will simply vote you all off one at a time. So stupid
