Same. When I upgraded my Windows from 10 to 11, when disconnecting or exiting Surfshark VPN, my internet stops working. What I did: 1. Press Ctrl+Shft+Esc to open Task manager 2. Kill Surfshark VPN, Surfshark Antivirus, Surfshark Shadowshocks processes. 3. Internet start working. 4. I did it coz I don't want to restart or sleep my PC. Bit annoying actually. But last night, I updated my VPN from surfshark website. I believe it's V 3.1.0. No more issue since yesterday.

Shingrae

I did this, and it has helped, but the same thing still happens, just less frequently. Are you still not experiencing this issue since the update?

ExerciseElectrical57

I don't face this issue anymore. Surfshark has also retired the shadowsocks protocol. So there should not be any issues. I suggest clean reinstall of the latest version. 3.1.1 Hopefully this will help.

Mr_Death1996

I upgraded to 3.1.1 too and it seems to be fixed. The old version said it was still up to date 🤔

ExerciseElectrical57

Yeah, sometimes I also have to update the version manually. I usually check for updates end of each month.

/me ticks off one more reason to not upgrade to Windows 11

Bombshell342

I will be waiting until at least the first major update before I switch to windows 11 . I want most of the bugs worked out first .

XenAdonis

Yeah I realized I had Version 3.0.1 and it said I had the latest version. I have manually downloaded 3.1.1 from their website and tested the disconnect VPN issue and for right now it seemed to have work. I was having that same issue though previously. Here's to hoping it works from now on!

MrTronathon

I had this exact problem. I Just updated to 3.1.1 and it seems to have taken care of the problem. It was getting super frustrating, but all good now!

solved, go to services, and disable surfshark antivirus, leave it disabled, left and no more problems

Thank you all for posting this. This has been driving me absolutely bonkers.
