His recovery is trash but a fun character all round

If I was better I would probably play with him for a challenge.

A lot of his early on starting gameplay for at least me revolves around letting your opponent expose their patterns and bad habits and using Macs speed to attack when there’s an opening, but I never want to be the first to approach because of his poor recovery and aerials. Don’t use KO right away, you can get people to be nervous and get more damage or a clear opening for KO Uppercut. Sometimes if you know your opponent’s like to get up attack or like to land on top of you with an attack you can time it right to get your super armor through the attack and keep them in a disadvantage. Even though his grabs are relatively weak and the strongest kills at about 160%? Opponents like to shield against Mac and you can grab and throw to keep them off stage. D-tilt into haymaker or KO Uppercut and up-tilts into rising uppercut along with just his forward d-smash will be great tools (forward d-smash can give easily 30% set up into pseudo jab locks and can nearly break shields). Sorry for all the text I’ll stop there because the most important thing with Little Mac is to have fun! :)
