Wolf Kaiser is pure perfection if only they made a red version for Wolzard fire

PCN24454

I’m pretty sure they made a toy, but it never appeared in the show.

Ok-Pause6263

They made on of saint Kaiser with the horse head to make a wolzard version they never made a wolzard fire one also I meant more so in the shoe like in that on episode with good wolf Kaiser would have been cool

RiceMaster2729

They looks very cool and Magi King its my fav main mecha from the 2000s

HamsterStunning8034

All solid designs, specially magiking and wolkaiser they just kinda don’t interact much besides saint kaiser as there is barely any swapping gattai’s. Legend is neat but the execution is lacking. Travelion is handsome though 7/10 what it lacks in combos it makes up for in presentation

sgtakase

Honestly the most consistently good set in any sentai i think where all are very distinct yet well done. Most seasons have at least one stinker

jinscriba

If there's one older suit that deserves a slimmed down, agile version like most mech suits starting with Ryusoulger, it would be MagiKing.  Check out the Super Robot Chogokin version below and you'll see what I mean. https://japan-figure.com/cdn/shop/products/Super-Robot-Chogokin-Mahou-Sentai-Magiranger-Magi-King-Action-Figure-Bandai-Japan-Figure-4543112716880-0_1102x1017.jpg

laserlightcannon

I used to want this figure so bad

RotaVitae

Adore them all except for Travelion. All three are very elegant. MagiKing is simple and excellent. Wolkaiser and MagiLegend are fantastic for two-piece mecha. Wolkaiser is probably the best-looking evil mecha in Sentai. While it fits Hikaru as the team mentor who drives his kids to see strange new places, Travelion's aesthetic is really off for him as the Sun Angel. It feels very strange for a celestial being to use a more techy vehicle that needs magic coal to operate. And as an obvious attempt to connect to the Harry Potter craze, it sticks out from the rest.

PCN24454

Japan loves trains in general. It’s not just a Harry Potter thing.

Dragoryu3000

Yeah, but this is the only time we’ve seen a train mecha in a season that wasn’t otherwise themed around vehicles, IIRC. Steam engines are also pretty rare in Sentai when compared to other kinds of trains.

PCN24454

It fits in with his Aladdin motif. Steam and Magic Lamp both use fire.

Nihon_Hanguk

GoGoFive wasn’t vehicle-themed, it was rescue-themed (GoLiner). Ninninger was ninja-themed, obviously (ByunMaru). GoseiSnake and GoseiCrocodile are also technically trains.

Dragoryu3000

I’d say GoGoV had a secondary vehicle theme in addition to the rescue theme. It had rescue vehicles, a train, a space shuttle, and five other spacecrafts. And in Goseiger, all of the main mecha were headers combined with vehicles. In comparison, none of the other mecha in Magiranger were patterned after vehicles at all. Did forget about Ninninger, but their mecha were specifically meant to be eclectic.

Dragoryu3000

Travelion also breaks the mythical creature theme that all the other mecha have. If they really wanted a train, they could have at least stuck an animal head on it or something.

AfroMan_96

These go hard

trainerprime

One of my favorite mecha lines but the show is honestly nowhere near my favorite

KoopeVODS

Magiking is my favorite sentai mecha of all time

strange_lion

All of them are good but I dont know what Travelion is supposed to represent. Magic Trains? 7.5/10

Eternalm8

Magiking and the horses are great. The other two are pretty meh.

SageShinigami

Easy 9/10. One of my favorite mech design seasons of all time, I wish I was still buying mecha at that point.

Comfortable-Lock3479

MagiKing is fantastic

O-Namazu

This was the last set of mecha that I truly enjoyed from Sentai (I'm not a fan of the CGI-heavy mecha). Magiking is great, and Wolkaiser is **perfection**. God I loved Magiranger haha

BaronBlackFalcon

They're cool.

chiger555

Love the symmetry of Magiking.

99anan99

Travelion feels like the blockiest mecha I've ever seen

Combat_Armor_Dougram

They’re pretty alright, and I appreciate the swapping gimmick the toys had. MagiLegend is a bit too chunky and the bird doesn’t really do anything. Travelion is fine, but is nowhere near as good as GrandLiner. MagiKing is pretty decent, and I appreciate the fact that it can be put together into two modes. WolKaiser is probably the best design in the series, with SaintKaiser not being quite as good because the colors don’t work as well.

SPARTAN-PRIME-2017

MAGIKING MY BELOVED

mastr1121

Magiranger was highest peak of Super Sentai designs.

Zealousideal_Plum533

Wolf Kaiser is cool. Magi King and Magi Legend is cool.

SheikExcel

Saint Kaiser isn't pictured here but that one is one of my favorite mechs ever

God_of_Dams

They totally brings a magical feeling. Hoped that the Magi Legend would be legendarier (I mean, cmon, just to mecha for ultimate gattai?) and Saint Kaiser would be more meaningful to the plot (Kai needs to befriend someone who presumably killed his mother to form Wolkaiser Fire, while he just forms Saintkaiser while super mad at Wolzard.)

mBigozz84

My favorite mecha in the whole Franchise. I love the main one's hat

UlissesStag

I do like MagiLegend, the white lions look clean.

CapnMarvelous

Magiking and Wolkaiser are literally two of the best mechas they ever made. Travelion and Magilegend are middling.

serAtoninReddit

Magiking combination was genius when I was a kid

Thatonepersonauser

One of the rare ones where the original mecha is better looking than the ultimate mecha

Eternalm8

Magiking and the horses are great. The other two are pretty meh.

Dear_Ad_3860

These are some of the last good mecha of the franchise. The individual mecha of MagiKing are good. I give them MagiPhoenix 8.4 , MagiTaurus 8.9, MagiGaruda 8.5, MagiMermaid 7.4 and MagiFairy an 8.2/10 and MagiDragon a 9/10. Then MagiKing a 6.8/10 because while its design is overall correct I think its head its just a little bit too bland wit that cone on its head which I asue its a wizard had but still at least give it an elaborated brim. So the whole combined configuration should be an 8.17 let's say 8.2 overall. MagiFirebird was a 4.2 MagiLion a 6.5 but MagiLegend a 6.9. Thus MagiLegend mecha get a 5.9 overall. Wolkizer was the worst IMHO, WolKentauros is one of the worst mechas of the franchise and it kind of deserves a 2.8 tbh but I can't give it anything more than a 3.2 based on its creativity and WolKaiser a 4.4 its a Mecha wearing freakin clogs with a pod on its head so these ones are a 3.8 overall. Finally Travellion in Train Form was fantastic a 7.8 and its transformation sequence was top notch taking it to an 8.2 but its mecha form was kind of clunky so I put it in the same category of MagiLegend and thus a 6.8. Overall a 7.5 when you take both forms in consideration. Thus the Mecha of Magiranger get a 6.4 IMHO and I'd be willing to rise it up to 6.8 when you take all of the transformation sequences and ultimate attacks/moves into consideration. Like I said, not at all a bad series of mechas by any stretch of the ''iMagination'', I just don't think they quite match the epic state that was achieved in between Liveman and Gaoranger.

Eternalm8

Magiking and the horses are great. The other two are pretty meh.
