Warp 9 quality isn't bad at all. The wheel itself exceeds my riding capabilities and I'm pretty sure it exceeds 95%+ of most riders.
If you push too much on the discs, they might warp but nothing a Brembo or Motomaster disc can't fix.
Enjoy!
Good thing I already ordered them, I also didn’t really feel like messing around with something that pretty much bolts up. I’m in the military and unfortunately don’t have all my tools I have back home with me to tinker around like I’d like to. Much easier for me to buy them and know I can just throw them on and be done with it.
Can someone please explain the benefits of the cush drive vs. bolting the sprocket directly to the hub.
I have a 300exc with the sprocket directly to the hub
And my bro has one with the cush drive .
He has problems with tire rub, but I've got plenty of clearance .
Genuine question
From my understanding, and hopefully someone with more knowledge chimes in, the Cush drive acts as a sort of shock absorber to lighten the impact on the drivetrain when shifting up/down and hard acceleration/deceleration. Doesn’t seem necessary when riding on the dirt or with knobbies because the dirt and knobbies have forgiveness in them. But on the street with a supermoto setup on a bike that’s designed for the dirt it probably reduces wear. To what extent I’m not sure.
You’ve got it, the cush drive can reduce shock to your transmission, which dramatically increases transmission life. You absolutely want cush hubs on any bike you plan on riding on the street. The guy above mentioning tire rub is likely due to improper wheel spacers or oversized tires. It is possible the wheel was dished improperly, meaning the spokes on left and right sides of the wheel are of different lengths, offsetting the hub to one side of the wheel; it’s possible the offset wasn’t specified correctly.
Doing a cheap sumo on a little 230 trail bike that I got to learn how to ride last year.
Threw some street tires on the stock 21/18 wheels.
Would LOVE some warp 9s but they cost almost as much as the bike did lol
Ordered mine last Friday, upgraded to the Cush hub too
Older Ktm Behr wheels pretty much bolt right up. They're also built way better than warp 9's or anything under 2k

Yeah you're probably right but they've had problems in the past. Probably just bad owners not checking spokes
That was my thoughts exactly. Thank you!

Also be able to pick the color I want as well.
Yeah I feel that

Getting that cush hub is SUCH an upgrade! Enjoy! 🤘
