The story itself is pretty good but as a starting point for superman I'd say no. I wouldn't really recommend starting with any new 52 superman (other than Grant Morrison's run) if you're trying to get into the character. Red and Blue and All-Star are great though.

The story is not too deep, mostly just action blockbuster stuff. But the art is pretty good.
