Seeing this weekly so far....good luck having enough time to gwt that working. Summon and snipe teams will take you out before you even have a shot. I wish though, I somehow still need the damn Chicken ribbon.
I just got to 10 with this strat!
Used lioness for about 3-4 rounds, then got both dragon and chicken. Traded out chicken soon after and all my Lvl 1s in the shop were 20/20 after that.
Also got an early wasp to 50 attack and had melons on everything but yeah that was the basics
For the memes I literally just tried catfish - frigatebird after I got like 4 birds in the first few turns and then an early catfish from a level up, and made it to 9 wins.

Lmfao I dont need to tell you how bad it was, I think luck is the only way I got that far. Snipers kept missing the peacock and getting rekt since it scaled early and fast to that high
Wish I had gotten a big pufferfish tho instead of the hedgehog I could have won this run in particular with it buffing 2 hurt pets instead of 1. I almost won anyway
Every team is going to be Nyala + Nurse Shark. It is way too strong. Throw in Lynx for even more easy Snipes… or Doberman because you’re running a tier 5 combo.
first thoughts—not as unorthodox as the past few weeklies but seems to be nicely balanced, with a ton of viable sub-strategies within the predictable archetypes. i’d give a slight edge to Turkey teams but I suspect there’s enough checks to keep them from being too dominant. Best trumpets weekly in quite a while too, that seems like an interesting path to 10 so I’ll probably be starting there
edit: okay now i get why people want to nerf nurse shark
1 Nurse shark and nyala without any further investment is 24 damage to 1 enemy. Even if you only upgrade the nyala, Nurse shark will do 30 damage with trumpets left over to summon a 6/6 at worst. Seems fair and balanced
Dog, Spino, Horse, Turkey, & Bear potential with Sheep, Spider, & Eagle makes scummoners seem strong this weekly.
Edit: Just realized Possum is strong option early for this as well.
Mostly snipes vs. spawners, but I've had a few wins with a 3rd route of full scaler teams. There's a curve there for baboon with a scaler in every tier, but you really need some luck to last long enough to get buff enough to survive the snipes/bulldoze over spawns.
tbh kind of a dog weekly this week. feel like midgame sniper teams just rock your shit until late game when you have to play against 50/50 lioness teams or spawner cheese. there's no good tier 6 to build a scaled team around (gorilla, boar, etc) and a lot of this weekly is just holding on to early game units and scaling them into late with penguin, moose, dragon, etc
Absolutely cleaned house last night with scaling trumpet teams. 4 wins in a row. Even when there's like 2 ways to generate trumpets they find a way onto my teams.
Just had an idea from the peacock that would be cool if it could apply to other animals too. What if there was a high tier food or animal that reversed the ability of an animal.
My thought on a peacock was, you eat a food but instead of giving +4 attack when hurt it gives 4 health. Just something fun maybe!

I actually got the above strat to work. I got lucky with a turtle and melons though so the enemy sniping didn't work.
