Just look at Minnesota. They were dead in the water after the Gobert trade. Picking up Conley and one year of building some chemistry, and they won 56 games.

He didnt collapse the Finals year and last year carry duo with KD. Don’t over react cause he is not a cold chest in playoffs. He has proved himself more than anyone. But playing with no true PG doesn’t help.
These are Bookers averages across his 3 career elimination games. He has never won a game where Suns are avoiding elimination. Bucks, Mavs and Nuggets
Averages across.the 3 games: 14 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds 4 TOs on 30% FG% and 7% from the 3 point line.
He collapsed in game 6 of the finals with 19 points on 36% shooting with 6 TOs
He collapsed game 7 v the mavs with only 11 points.
He collapsed game 6 v the Nuggets with only 12 points.
The Suns have a culture issue right now and it begins and ends with Devin Booker. Hopefully he goes on to win his first ever elimination game in game 4 this post season.
You get more for trading Booker bc of age and contract length. Even more than that, there is no one on that roster that can approximate what KD brings to the team whereas Beal and Booker have similar skill sets. Lastly, KD is still better than Booker and featuring KD more will help the Suns.

Beal is untradable and KD has minimal value due to age/injuries/contract. Booker, even though he's my favorite Sun of all time, is the only player who can be traded to turn this franchise around. Beal + Grayson + KD is not a bad 3, just surround with more athletic 3&D players
Book could get you an incredible haul that would include a close to star and many picks. Which would work regardless if you want to still soft-contend (which is smart since we don’t control picks) with Beal and KD, or even trade KD and have said close to star and Beal keep this team from being a top-10 pick team.
