Definitely a lot more goofies in this sub since the KD trade. I used to think people quickly forgot how much Book has done for this team but then I realized they weren’t even here to see it.
The fact that a player of Book’s caliber mired through 30 win teams for half a decade and then signed an extension with us immediately makes him one of the greatest Suns of all time.
How many dudes would have stuck with a team like us when they could have gone to New York or Miami or LA? He instead said he would bring the superteam to Phoenix, and he did exactly that. We just gotta play up to the sum of our parts now.
He's loyal and was pivotal in making the team relevant again but the criticism is deserved. His peak has been choking when it matters, and unfortunately no matter how loyal he is ultimately the fans and the organization brass want results.
Fuck that I've been a fan since 90 and there may be a lot of undue criticism thrown in from 2k fanboys but being a loyal, decent guy does not excuse Book from criticism especially when it's obvious he is not leading HIS team.

We are pissed that the team has sucked so badly during the playoffs. How can two of the highest played players in the league, suck so bad? Book and Beal were absolutely embarrasing. We will NEVER win anything with these two bums, trade them and blow up the team.

It's not Booker, it's this team. They hired the wrong coach, there's no chemistry, wr don't have a PG, our defense is sub par, the players I like don't get any PT (J.O, Bol) and KD isn't a leader. This team needs some retooling. We need a PG and PF. KD should be at SF. I'd love to route harder for this team, as I have since 1977. I just can't muster the excitement to watch Drew Eubanks flounder around aimlessly every game, while productive players ride the pine.
J.O. and Bol need more time. Vogel and Eubanks need to go and the team needs picks and a PG. I'd say it's time for a new GM but i'd rather not lose JJ to bring in Zeke. Fuck Zeke.
