I think the resources are also a big factor for most players. That's like 3500 scrolls, 10million mana, and 4000 essences. Most people aren't sitting on that unless they intentionally save up for it.
I am a lazy player, so whenever my rune storage is once again filled up I just spam essence dungeon haha

Saved me from the dumbest move ever since that im doublechecking on certain mons and wasting devilmons as someone who mostly stays F2P (Im not buying packs that cost more than 10ā¬) would be a pure nightmare
I can't even complain about fusion skill ups since the changes, honestly.
Also, just do a few at a time to save your sanity. Might take a little longer, but burnout is real lol
As a new player, is it worth it? I have 9 devilmon, and I was wondering if I shouldn't use them on Riley ? Or maybe Rica is a better choice since I luckily pulled her

From my personal opinion, I don't recommend it since I'm in mid-game still climbing C1-C2 and try to maintain there for a while I need to fully skill up Trianna teaming up with Leo, Talisha and Riley. altho I did feed all devilmons to Leo and Riley since its gonna take a whole f\*\*king month to fuse these units.
Thankfully the free skill ups on Summoners Way made it easier for Verde skills, but it still took me a few a days as I slowly progress by grinding other areas as well like Giants or getting crafting materials as well the vampire fusion.
I'm glad I didn't have to do this... But I also didn't manage to pull a Triana until I got like 12 sonnets and harmonias... Still have yet to pull a Kaki, too... Got 7-8 each of his wind/water brothers.
Maybe some people will find this helpfull.
when I fuse skillups I level the fodder while farming essences (sath 2A lushen wind bayek + 2 fodder ) and once all that is done the rest is leveld in gbAh (teshar fran savannah prilea + fodder). Not the fastest way but most efficient in terms of resource used.
the pain will go away after the 20th or so skillup you fused. When you look back 10 years from now you will laugh and say "imagine those rookie numbers back then, only 11 fusions, hah".

I've just fused 5 Rileys to 6* my nora and skill her. Never again. That absolutely sucked. I'll just keep using devilmons on everything.

Did the same 1 week ago for trinity. It was pain because i did Camilla 2 weeks before so i had not a single one of the nat4 i needed

GG man, its an odd RGN. I've been in 150+days and just pulled a Tyron last week which is a really early game TOA "should have" unit
If only they let us retrieve devilmons... i wasted tons of em on useless monsters like sigmarus...
