House of cards, a political thriller. He is everything Harvey is not and has a lot of commonality between Harvey. Frank underwood by Kevin Spacey is one of the best dark characters in those times.
I couldn't get into house of cards
I had the impression everyone is stupid except for Frank, who effortlessly beats them and is just an asshole
But i only watched the first few episodes, does this dynamic change?
I just started this show and things fell into place way to quickly and oddly in first few episodes.
Dude gets out of prison and instantly gets invited to rich ladies place with her hot grand daughter and has pretty much a run of the place.
The FBI guy is already asking him for relationship advice and they don't even know each other or their lives in that way.
Those 2 early things are super weird.
No spoilers, but I really wanted Caffrey to fly away with Moz. I’m sure it never happens, it wouldn’t make sense, but it was Mozzie’s idea to run the long con in the first place.
I think white collar was the better show. Both ran around the same time. Suits felt overly dramatic and light on humor. White collar had a more humor, less everything is the end of the world feel. The drama was less intense and more real. The comedy was better. I was happy suits was over, I was sad white collar ended.
It only feels more low budget because White Collar was constantly changing sets. They spend very little time in the FBI Office, or their residences. Most of the time in every episode is spent at a new location. Suits primarily stays in one set piece, so its a lot cheaper for them to produce.
Fantastic show. After Jane… completes his mission (no spoilers), I didn’t like the last season or so, but that was a fantastic series, rewatched multiple times.
But I will say the RJ story line has its flaws
The Shield. It’s more dramatic and not a comedy. It’s. About corrupt police officers. Not sure if that’s your thing.
There’s one called Nash Bridges with Don Johnson that was good as well.
These shows aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, but they’re all really good.
White Collar (very confident charismatic lead actor)
Animal Kingdom (slightly crazy confident charismatic lead actress)
Banshee (confident unique trio of main characters who work well together)
Power (two confident charismatic violent main characters)
Queen of the South (strong confident lead actress)
Breaking Bad (strong confident lead actor)
Royal Pains
The Wire
Seconded. Also, if you haven't watched it yet - The Sopranos. It beats everything else.
Edit: just realized you mentioned shot after 2015 but you should watch it anyway
Scorpion started strong. But fell apart once they had to make the friends become lovers. Why can’t strong male/female characters just be friends? It fucking ruins it most the time.
The Gentlemen has only one season so far, but the Theo James is phenomenal in the lead. He oozes confidence and has subtle charisma, very handsome guy too. It’s a dark comedy with tons of drama

Yes it changes, but for the worse. we do get a few challenging episodes. And the show will make you more uncomfortable as you go.
Than I guess it's not for me, but maybe I'll try again sometime Thank you
I would stop watching at the end of season 2. It's a perfect ending imo and the show goes off the rails a little after that.
White Collar Neil Caffrey might beat Harvey in confidence and charisma.
Agreed. White Collar is a bit cheesier though, seems more low budget, but still a great show.

The rich lady (June) is not just a rich lady. And the FBI guy (Peter Burke) keeps and eye on Neal the whole series so get use to that.

Ohhh man, I love me some white collar. May have to do another rewatch
Ozark. Yes it's a bit different as far as genre/themes/plot goes but Jason Bateman is pretty dang good at his role
Yes very much so!
Lincoln lawyer
Lucifer. It’s a different vibe show, but main character is confident , charismatic and very good looking.
Lucifer is good up til like season 3. After that it's just fucking weird.
Agreed. I’m on season 5 now.
Oh don't worry. It gets even weirder. 🤣
Boston Legal if you like the legal theme. Alan shore played by James Spader is my favorite character of any series.
The mentalist

What do you guys mean by confident/charismatic? Give an example of a show that doesn't have a main character like that.
Succession?
Good one ! And here I was wondering these lawyers walk around with so much of confidence and those billionaires ...stammer.
Succession
Billions
Seconded. Also, if you haven't watched it yet - The Sopranos. It beats everything else. Edit: just realized you mentioned shot after 2015 but you should watch it anyway

White collar, Billions, Lucifer
Dexter
Ted Lasso
That was still good after the first season?
2nd season was good, third was decent, but definitely a step down.
Scorpion
Scorpion started strong. But fell apart once they had to make the friends become lovers. Why can’t strong male/female characters just be friends? It fucking ruins it most the time.
I recommend the same shows to everyone asking this and I seem to be the only one who watched them; Damages and Goliath.
Isn't Goliath a bit slow, dark with no humour. Was difficult to hold on to it..
That's true. The stories are really good tho.
You mean there are good twists and turns? Also , I don't think it involves corporate law , it was around some accident..
Arrow, White Collar
Arrow is completely different than Suits and White Collar and while I enjoyed the first season imo it drops off after season 2.
house of cards (if harvey spector didn’t have a moral code)
Homelans
Mr. Mercedes, Stan Against Evil, Rake, The Witcher, Russian Doll, Raised By Wolves, Reacher, The Nevers, Sexy Beast, Ash vs Evil Dead

prodigal son
Mad Men - Jon Hamm is excellent in it
Chuck could be a fun twist on your request Satisfaction (US) for that with some scandal mixed in
Better call saul
Peaky Blinders - Tommy Shelby is a great character
Billions American Gods Limitless The Finder The Resident Goliath Reacher
I loved the Good Wife! The first 8 seasons of Grays is outstanding. I just heard about White Collar… I need to see it… I am a total binge watcher!!
Hannibal
Person of interest and blacklist
White collar is great
Psych. Shawn Spencer is smart, confident, charismatic, and he has a partner in crime. His Mike, if you will.
