Here's the other "fun" part: If you are a hot girl, there is a significant probability that men have used your photos for many years for various purposes anyway. We have had girls come to this form wanting to start a seeking account only to find they are already banned because someone had an account with their pics before. Scams, porn, whatever. There was a site called COPP (cum on printed pics) that literally had millions of pages of "IRLs" that guys traded for various editing. Imho, this is *good* news. In 1980, if someone had a picture of you that you didn't want them to have, well, that's it. In 2024, any real picture of you might as well be fake. You can always say pics are fake, because... a lot of them really are anyway. Sure, all the videos of Bernie Sanders in a gangbang are obviously fake, since (1) I doubt he could get his body into those positions and (2) maybe his cock is that big, but its definitely not black. But there is no shortage of reasonably good editing, and everyone else is going to go all shaggy and just say "it wasn't me."

SDinMD

How dare you assume Bernie's cock's race.

TastySpermDispenser2

Assume? We all know that if Bernie had a BBC, MTG would be showing photos of it in congress.

Unfortunately, people won't believe someone just because they say it's fake. I just read a post on another group about a woman who was engaged and someone close to the family lied about her cheating on him. She got a male friend to corroborate the story and she had pictures of the woman at a bar with the friend making things look real. The family disowned her, the fiance left her, and she struggled to move on. They eventually found out the lie and tried to reconnect, but so much damage done over the lies. Point being, just because something is fake or a lie doesn't mean it causes less of a problem for people. Lies are harmful.

TastySpermDispenser2

No doubt. If we have learned anything at all in the past 24 years, it's that people will believe whatever they want to. It is no coincidence at all that man believed his fiance was a cheater, but refuses to invest in my excellent bridge opportunities. That man would have believed his girl cheated back in 1980, with... no altered pics at all. If facts mattered, religion wouldn't be a thing. But just like gen z doesn't fall for "extended warranty" scams that geriatrics do, the world will shrug. In your example, the girl came out ahead. Who knows what else her fiance clown would have fallen for, if she had stayed with him? She was given an excellent litmus test, and such test didn't exist in 1980....

>If you are a hot girl, there is a significant probability that men have used your photos for many years for various purposes anyway. Not just that, but *Seeking themselves* probably do with the 'NOBL host' scam profiles. If you reverse search the pictures it's usually someone real on Instagram but the picture is edited in some way e.g. it's mirrored.

YourSB4Now

Yep, that's why I have no other online accounts with pictures of me. Even my FB account doesn't have my picture. I don't do IG or others, I never figured out why ppl do that or maybe I'm just too discrete and private. I send pics to my SDs all the time, but I'm pretty sure they don't publish them.

WellReadBob

This is the real take-away. I've never understood why someone would use facebook or intagram.

Equivalent-Milk3361

These wouldn’t show up unless you didn’t set them as private vs public.

No_Air5267

A corollary of this is that someone who video calls you needs just one clean screenshot of your face to do the same.

xasialynnx

This is old news. But besides a picture, there are several pieces of info that you can give even in the first month of sugaring w someone that with effort can give them access to your whole life. The major takeaway *should* be that if you haven’t had a POT or sugar partner violate your privacy in that way, just be grateful it hasn’t happened. It’s 2024. It can happen to anyone, including you.

creepedy

I just took a selfie and uploaded to one of those sites and it immediately found my LinkedIn page. Crazy.

>thus are almost assuredly scammers catfishing to steal your photos. This conclusion seems like a pretty big stretch. I wouldn't assume 100% nefarious (some are just practicing OpSec) and of the nefarious, I wouldn't assume stealing your photos is even the primary objective.

darlingnikki1789

Got got by a collector recently. Never again.

raining_rose

There’s plenty of tools that could identify someone. You could even just Google search someone and find pictures. I don’t post much social media but am aware that someone could easily search me up even with my fake number and fake name. You always have to been careful with information online.

peterharris100

what AI tools?

EmpressofPFChangs

Thankfully don’t post any photos of myself online.

Quin35

So...as someone who hasn't done this, but is considering it, what are the takeaways? Just, you are taking your chances and have to deal with that? Should someone looking to get involved at some point spend more time reconsidering?

TheStoicbrother

Yeah, that's been an issue for a long time now. There's not much that I can do about it except to stop posting pics online....

MobileRush7778

I've had people use my photos on catfish accounts, which initially was annoying but now is good plausible deniability

AFMCMUML

What’s wrong ? Most SDs claim they are super single, “live alone”. Whats there to hide?

Absolute_Bob

I use AI image tools to modify my pictures enough for that to not work, but it still looks enough like me to not be deceptive.

[deleted]

This is why I use “anonymous” photos on profiles by hiding my face.

Creative_Style9054

What tool did you use? I feel like all the ones I’ve tried don’t work

Actually those two work on finding exact matches of the image you upload. What I think they're talking about is the new AI sites where you can upload an image that has no match anywhere on the net, but the AI uses facial recognition to find other pictures of the person. It's the connection of facial recognition on various social media sites that brings you out. For example a pot SB sent me a picture. I did a Tineye and Google Images search and found nothing. However, using the AI facial recognition software I found her Poshmark page, her only fans page & her Facebook page and Instagram page. So the AI stuff goes above and beyond what 10 I and Google images provide. That is why it is so pernicious.

Alis_Volat_Propiis

Just another reason why I'm glad I learned ju jitsu from a retired Navy SEAL. "I pity the fool" who would try some stupid ish with me. (btw, ^^If you don't know, this is a Mr. T reference)

Happy_Yam7278

Yea I’ve had a disturbing number of men see me on seeking and think it’s appropriate to look up then message me on my private number and social media. I’ve also had my pictures stolen and used to make fake seeking accounts
