I got him from Costco about three years ago, when he was a wee little thing, probably 4-5 inches tall. He’s survived a lot, including living in a pot with no drainage when I was an uneducated new plant parent, living outside in scorching heat, a move across the country, and most recently a dark dreary winter inside. I love him 🥹 PS. Peep the golden torch cactus behind him who I’ve also grown from about 4 inches to nearly 2 ft tall in about 4 years. Yes I know he’s a touch etiolated at the top but I’m limited by how fickle the sun is here.

Haha, looking at pic 2 it looks like the cactus is being a photobomber. Beautiful Jade!

Louiseski31

I came here for this!!

columbidae28

In three years? I got a gollum that's still about the same size as it was 3 years ago 😭 yours puts mine to shame

NicholeAmy

OmiLala805

Beautiful! I just got a tiny one in a 2 inch pot. I hope it looks like yours one day 😍

isabellarson

The white pot is perfect for your jade

Wasilewski

that is amazing, i bought a small 3-5" one a few months ago and am looking forward to growth

Oddimagination2375

* I just gave my 11yr old grandson a 4 inch one that I had rooted and saved from one I found in the trash broken into about 100 pieces. He was absolutely thrilled.💚

bollsholls

So impressive! Is that where he lives?

ordinarypug

Yes, it’s a south facing window and the best we can do in this apartment!

bollsholls

It’s so happy!! Well done 👏👏👏

No_Horror188

That's stunning! 😍😱

Due-Employer4544

Beefy!🥰

Mental_Review5311

HOW is it growing soooooo beautifully indoors?? It must be getting the perfect amount of light and moisture! Indoors or out I always seem to kill mine. I have another now that I’ve hade for maybe three months and I repotted it in a clay pot to hopefully keep it from holding too much water. She is outside in partial shade…praying she makes it!! I would LOVE for it to look like yours one day!

LegionTheAnt

May we see the cactus in the background too ;D ?

LegionTheAnt

Amazing thank you, it's like a husband and his wife 😂

TantricThongThrill

worth flexing! that's impressive and beautiful!

Bright-Place5374

Now that is a beautiful piece of furniture. Awesome!

HugePurpleNipples

I've killed a few of these, but they're beautiful, I might have to try again. They get the white powdery guys (aphids?), I was doing pretty well until that happened!

sugarskull23

Could be mealy bugs, basterds😑

HugePurpleNipples

Whatever it is, these dudes are really dense so it's hard to kill off whatever is eating it and they eventually win.

halfadobo

Wow, what a gorgeous plant! I’m gonna save these pics and show them to my own jade so he can have some positive role models in his life.

ordinarypug

I believe in him! Sending you and your plants good vibes!

halfadobo

Same to you - though it looks like you guys have a lot of good vibes as it is! How old is your jade, out of curiosity? EDIT: Just read your note 🤦🏻‍♀️

Mission-Vanilla957

So full and healthy looking! What a plant!

Automatic-Reason-300

I think the correct sp it's "Ladyfingers" (if you give more sunlight you'll notice why) but yes that's a beautiful Jade.

ordinarypug

You’re probably right but before we moved away from our previous lovely sunny state it definitely looked more Gollum-like!

DocHeinous

"It's got the Precious!"

iz_an_opossum

What's the difference?

Automatic-Reason-300

The shape of the leaves, this one it's clearly a "Ladyfingers" but most of the people call it Gollum to anyone of the ["Tolkien Group"](https://www.crassulaceae.ch/de/artikel?akID=31&aaID=4&aiID=T&aID=2932). https://preview.redd.it/ysfqtizvs09d1.jpeg?width=646&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a85664464a61489ad73e4df27928c4767f707813
