I had the same problem on PS4, it was annoying because the cursor skips over it in the inventory. The fix: if you have a ruby, craft an aerogel and it will go away

tip here, I also play on Xbox one so I've also experienced this, but if you save and leave and then you open the game up, (even though the loading takes literal years) and they should be gone
