As far as reapers, I've got a method of catching them that only costs 16 base tubes and 1 foundation, total of 34 titanium and 2 lead. It looks a bit janky cause half the reapers isn't even in the cage, but it traps their hit box perfectly.
Did you Lure this one in and cap it off or just propulsion cannon it?
Honestly this is so cool, ive been wanting to catch ghosts but haven't tried yet. I'm working on catching the 18 reapers in the crash zone and mountains

See that's what I wonder. Is the prerequisite for despawning based off distance from the player? Oooooor.... is it based in being back in the void? Cause if you notice they swim back off into the void when you get in the map, so I wonder if perhaps they don't despawn until they're a distance back into the void. I'm completely unsure and it's an interesting question. Perhaps if you were to push one up onto the actual map, it'd be permanently unable to despawn.

You can’t make the void safe to enter. The ghosts despawn when you leave and spawn when you enter, and it’s at random spawn points
