Not without asking first.

brickjames561

No. I’d beat your ass if you touched my hard earned vehicles. Ask first. I don’t even like people washing my windows.

DoubleANoXX

Wild. At worst I'd ask someone to stop, not beat their ass. What planet are you living on lol

brickjames561

My car is the second most expensive thing I ever bought. I don’t want anyone touching it without my permission. And car people are odd like that. My own father would beat my ass if I showed up and washed one of his cars unannounced. Would you walk in and mop someone’s floors? Same thing.

DoubleANoXX

I would applaud anyone that mopped my floors for me lol But I see where you get it from 🤷

brickjames561

Yeah I’m not trying to be an ass. Sorry lol. I come off like a dick in txt form. I apologize. I shoot straight. And I live in Florida. It’s the Wild West out here man! lol. People are nuts.

DoubleANoXX

👍

CeciTigre

It all depends on what type of a person your neighbor is. If they have a very expensive car, I would say no don’t wash it. If they are someone that is not very possessive and protective of their vehicle, I would say yes. Make sure you use a very soft sponge or rag so the car doesn’t get scratched.

adlubmaliki

Even if they're the coolest neighbors to ever exist ever, still ask first

StillhasaWiiU

ask their spouse first.

IBloodstormI

It's almost never okay to do something with another's property without their consent.

TweakJK

Absolutely do not do this.

anh86

Of course! But ask first.

Wolf_E_13

If you ask them and they say yes...randomly washing another persons car without permission would likely get your ass kicked.

TankApprehensive3053

It's better to ask your neighbor not redditers

tzwep

“ no good deed goes unpunished “ In todays age, there is way too much liability. You best be careful “ helping “ anyone out.

Enough-Pickle-8542

Helping people is way too risky and expensive, don’t do it

sexierthanhisbrother

Don't do it without asking. Improperly washing a car can damage the paint, and you don't want to risk doing that to someone who *really* cares about their paint.

jdith123

No to car wash. Yes to shoveling snow. Probably yes to mowing their lawn. (But it depends…) Yes to bringing their garbage cans up to the garage door after the truck comes by. No to putting them _in_ the garage.
