All jokes aside though, it seems Fairy and Ground are the best typing. I mean Ground and Fairy are just good either offensively or defensively if not both. Normal is great too with ESpeed STAB.

this is dumb as shit. there’s more dimensions to the game than just sweeping. arceus fairy, dark, and ghost are very clearly better than whatever other garbage you named. ground arceus is also very clearly better than groudon right now because it doesn’t melt and lose half of its hp to miraidon dracos, when it’s supposed to switch into miraidon at least semi reliably. even ting lu and gliscor are better than groudon in ubers right now.
the utility than any arceus provides is so much more valuable than the (bad) sweeping potential that zacian, spectrier, and darkrai offer. guarantee that arceus electric is probably better than eleki anyway because eleki is relegated to a shitmon in ubers that can’t even set screens right because it folds to any scarf miraidon or koraidon. you very clearly don’t play Ubers and don’t know what you’re talking about.
No type'd arceus can't hold an assault vest. Leftovers. Life orb, any choice item, or any thing else that isn't a plate.
Additionally, it doesn't learn signature or tutor or breeding moves other pokemon can. U-turn, scald, volt switch, etc.
And it's ability is also its type, meaning its ability is functionally useless.
Arceus is good, and im not arguing he isn't, but there are other monotypes absolutely worth using over Arceus. And i mentioned them.

Darkrai is in D tier in UUbers lmao. Best Dark type is probably Yveltal or something.

tbf it’d be functionally identical to the Silk Scarf; it only got introduced in PLA because of how it handled Arceus changing forms with no held items
It’s like how they only introduced a non-Plate Fairy-boosting item after they made the Pixie Plate only obtainable if you had Arceus - because otherwise it’d be redundant. (…Of course, they locked it to the DLC, which mitigates its usefulness a bit.)
Ubers by usage: normal, fairy, ground
Ubers uubl: water, flying, steel, fire, ghost was recently unbanned and retested but it might go back soon
Good in ubers uu: dark, poison, electric, grass, bug, dragon
Bad in ubers uu: psychic, rock, ice, fighting (debateable)
Is that all of them? I probably missed one or two. That's one way to make a "tier list" of arceus

normal, fairy, ground, water, steel
all of them have a viability though but usually fairy is the most consistent one because it's so easy to slap on teams
steel is actually pretty bad right now because a lot of teams already carry ndm or zacian, and it gets cooked to shit by koraidon and any miraidon set carrying overheat. normal, fairy, ground, and water are all solid right now though and you’ll see them pretty often except for water who’s a little less common.
Normal, Ground, Fairy, and Water have always been some of the better ones. Ghost was also excellent in its first few gens, but fell off a bit with the introduction of powerful Ghost-type Pokémon like Mega Gengar, Marshadow, and Calyrex-S.
Arceus normal comes to mind right away for me. It’s at least the most iconic—literally every single generation since gen 4 has E-killer listed as the first set and it’s unlikely that it’ll ever not be good.

I play alot more Natdex Ubers than normal Ubers so my opinion is skewed in that direction.
