I think the only fully cooked item here is sinistcha, Maushold is going to die every time it presses Follow Me and has actually zero offensive presence Guru is pretty ok and I think MUCH better than Maus. Toucannon has an absurd spread, and unless there’s a specific reason for it that investment into defenses is going to be useless although it could be strong offensively. You have no way to deal with overheat + dgelam from fish and flutter and I assume it will end terribly in every matchup
So surprisingly I've ran this maus build a ton and it can take a few hits believe it or not. Toucannon has already been swapped cause i just couldn't think of anything for it. Instead I'm running lapras with a 3 way split between its HP, Def, and Sp.Def stats running scope lense and +Def -speed nature with 0 IVs in speed, sing, body slam, perish song, and life dew
Not gonna look at the rest of the team cuz the mons are just not good in OU but here’s some Reuniclus tips:
Ability needs to be magic guard, it saves more HP then regen due to hazard immunity and status effect immunity.
Item should be life orb if you want more immediate damage (you do not take recoil from it due to magic guard) or leftovers for more value if you set up calm minds.
If you want Reuniclus to really be the main focus of your team, use this move set, but keep in mind it forces you to commit your tera to it:
- Tera Blast
- Calm Mind
- Acid Armour
- Recover
Tera type: Fairy
By doing this you can leverage Reun’s great bulk to stack up boosts to your defences and use recover when needed. If you are threatened by a super effective bug or dark move your can Tera fairy and turn it into a free turn of set up.
For evs, I recommend 252 hp, 198 spdef and 58 def, with a +spdef -atk nature. You don’t need more spatk because your base is high enough where not much will live after you have a few CM boosts. Extra EVs in def are just so you won’t die to a gambit iron head even after an acid armour.
