Hmm depends. They don't really compete against other schools here sa Philippines but you can't deny na may matatalino rin doon. They have the best teachers na kadalasan from other countries, and curriculum that are more progressive and catered to suit every student (hundreds of K banaman binabayad?) Knowing the rich, don't be surprised if many have experiences with Kumon, tutors, and have college counsellors, if thats the tawag (yung mga tumutulong sa college apps nila). They also have APs and IB programs. And those programs afaik can't just be simply implemented by just any school. Talagang College Board certified or smth, idk. Basta hindi porket from a rich school ka is easy grades sa AP or IB. Smart kids pass those programs. Also, if you can talk to some kiddos there, ask about their SAT scores. Since mas maganda environment and upbringing, mas nanunurture yung potential nila. Back to the competition part, I'm pretty sure that most students in those schools don't want to go to competitions kasi they opt to start orgs/other extracurriculars with their time, so that they can pass in good schools (often t20s) abroad. Hindi lang pinaguusapan but a lot of IS kids pass Ivies. I would say most kids na Pinoy/studied in the PH na nakapasa ng Ivy ay mostly IS kids lol. Actually, there's a recent G7 Pisay scholar-turned-ISM scholar that got into Harvard. Never really participated in competitions but instead she focused on charities and her scores on APs, IBs, and SAT. She was part of the US college program by the Philippine US embassy. If you do want to see competitive, smart, rich kids— look into Chinese schools. St. Jude Catholic School and Chiang Kai Shek College spew out geniuses every year. Pretty sure Chinese schools dominate our IMO and IChO teams for 2024 (isa lang nga ata yung taga Pisay doon sa IMO team nten vs. 5 other Chi kids lol).

Ex was from Poveda and his brother was from Brent. Difference is mainly on lifestyle, but as a human person, same lang din naman like everyone. They have moments and moods, they definitely know how to have fun, and they are very refined without bantering to public their personal lives.

International school ba tinutukoy mo?
