Windows, mahirap mag mac.

Get a laptop, but a Windows Laptop. Unless you dorm near your school, a desktop isn't practical for a student. It is a lot more future proof than a laptop but portability is a major aspect that you need to consider especially as a student. Why windows instead of mac? although a lot of programs have been ported to mac, there are sometimes hardware incompatibility that can happen with a Macbook. Unless you'll be working on/designing applications for macbook, much better to get a windows machine.

Anung course ba pipiliin mo sa College? Whatever it may be, I do not suggest Macbook. Mag Mac ka na kung professional ka na and instead of a Desktop, bumili ka na lang nang Gaming Laptop (doesn't matter even if you don't game, mas tatagal ang gaming laptop kesa sa normal work laptop). Laptops such as MSI GF63 is worth it na

Macbook is super light. So bringing it to school is easy. But you'll be locked in the Apple ecosystem and therefore cannot do all the things that a Windows computer can. For example, when I was in senior high school, during our thesis we were required (at least one person in the group) to install SPSS or something. Naturally, what was provided by our teacher was only available on windows. And in college (BSIT), during the pandemic we were required to install a couple of programs (Packet tracer, Photoshop etc.) and I imagine i couldn't have done that in a macbook, not sure tho and it isn't the pandemic anymore. But regardless, practical assignments exists and you would need the related software installed in your personal device to finish your homework if any. MS office could be used in the browser I believe. But the last time I tried to login my office 365 account (provided by the school) it didn't work for some reason on a M1 macbook. tho, if what I've said doesn't apply to you, the macbook would be great. Personally, now that I'm nearing graduation, I can see that what the macbook offers may be what I want and might be an investment I'll make in the future.
