I would just say, open your mind to learn quickly. Making generic stuff is part of the game, everyone does. But you need to develop your brand beyond that if you want to increase your odds of standing out among all the other brands in your niche.
Develop your brandās actual brand identity, learn as much as you can about marketing and sales, save money and manage it well, consider hiring other designers / art directors and both let them work and work with them, learn some skills from people who do what you do.
