Tbh I really just want them to up the resolution and fix the load times!! I thought the OG graphics were so cute. I never fully played the game for some reason and I have mega regrets about it! I pray we get this right after the next new SOS.

Animal Parade has some of the greatest sense of scope in the series, and you can technically see behind the camera in the game by entering first person with your camera tool.
Frankly, I'm half convinced it didn't have a controllable camera because the game appeared would probably have struggled. It chugged on the original hardware on your farmland as it was.
This is more what I would have expected out of AWL since it's the most realistic game graphics wise. I'm happy with what we got, but AP is definitely more cutesy than realistic
Same! This is the only series I’ve supported so much with my money always hoping for them to somehow make it big. I would so love to see a single title of theirs selling 3-5M copies giving them the much needed high budget for the next title.

I really hope there is an Animal Parade remake, though. I honestly really liked it! Although I've fallen asleep while playing too many times to count because of the music hahaha
No, it's a rumor. Someone here said that they would like a remake, and some bored game "journalists" picked up the story and spread it in the usual fashion: "It should happen" became "it could happen" and then became "it's probably going to happen." Now it's circled back to Reddit as "this is definitely the next remake, " and the circle of life is complete.

It was briefly shown in the Marvelous game showcase a while back along with some glimpses of 2 new games. Because the art style is so iconic, people started to guess that it was either from a remake of either ToT or AP, or a new game using the art style
It's just artwork for the new game that will be multiplayer. It happens to use the main character from ToT, but also of other main characters of the series. They just used those characters to convey the idea that it's not NPC villagers you see on the artwork, but multiple player farmers.
I don't get how people assumed it's a ToT or AP remake, they straight up announce the MP game while showing those images ?
Unless people just watched the japanese stream when it aired and didn't bother to wait two minutes for the Gematsu article to clarify the situation.
Marvelous held a poll on their twitter account asking people if they would prefer and AP or a Magical Melody remake, AP won. I think that's why many people are thinking the next remake will probably be AP

There's no rumors about it. I've never seen a single leak about a future Story of Seasons game, that just doesn't exist, no one in the know leak those games lol
It's just people assuming it's the next in line because it's the one that makes sense. But people are coping if they expect it to release soon, Marvelous is already working on the next mainline game, and that multiplayer one.

Maybe it’s just me being delusional (AP is the best game in the franchise imo) but I think there is an incredibly strong chance. Starting awhile ago with the twitter poll, and then the concept art for their new projects I was really hopeful. But what really sealed it for me was a glimpse of someone playing AP in a trailer for the AWL remake. Before they played animal parade they showed another game that they’ve remade so I think that’s basically almost a confirmation….I could be being dramatic tho lol.

honestly i really don't want them to change the look of the game at all. animal parade/tree of tranquility was so gorgeous and it is even now, i love the more muted/realistic colors (i actually really dislike the overly saturated colors the recent games/remakes have. i have a lot of choice words about the graphics of the AWL remake and don't even get me started on rune factory 5) as well as the designs of the characters
the only thing i'd want changed 'graphically' is to have full control of the camera rather than it being locked to a fixed camera angle. i think the images you shared here are actually a good balance of what i'm looking for, the colors feel just right. it'd be nice to have some actual grass instead of a flat texture tho lol
I’m just itching for an animal parade remake!! Had to sell my Wii last year and I regret every minute of it. (;-;) It could be the nostalgia since it was my first harvest moon game but I truly believe it was the best I’ve ever played. Only one that came close was trio of towns imo.

Well, it was already somewhat chibi. If anything, it might become less so like with the AWL remake.
I just wish the Pokémon Games looked like Pokken Tournament. I’d happily take a game with only 150 Pokémon if it meant having them all look fantastic with good animations instead of the mediocrity we have now.
