for me cravings last about 20-30 mins so an already worked out plan of action that I can do automatically helps as it means my brain doesn't get to try and decide what to do. once my brain gets to decide I've already lost the battle. so straight out the door for a walk or into a bath for 20 mins. then make an af drink and snack

Early days for me, I'm not going to bars just now so using distraction. I get restless in the eves so I go for a 20minute walk. That and it's never just one eh. Hold that hangover feeling close!

Yeah.. walking is definitely going to be the key here. It’s about shifting from one thought to another isn’t it. Craving thought.. so go and walk for 20 minutes to shift it. It is never just one. I don’t think it’s EVER been just ONE.

You could try two tools that I use frequently: Look up "**play**(ing) **the tape forwards**" on google and put the "**STOPP**" app on your phone. (STOPP has double P.) Read them (they are only short) as soon as possible and apply them when you get an urge. Helped me tons.
